      In February 2025, I called Alliant Credit Union. After a deeply unsatisfying response to my inquiry about the free checks they had advertised, I asked to immediately close out my account. I was informed my accounts with ********************** had been closed out and I would receive a check in the mail. I subsequently received a check dated February 24, 2025 with the balance of the funds from the account. While I still felt their advertisement regarding free checks was misleading and this misleading advertisement had actually caused me some issues with payroll processing with my job, I was willing to let closing my account be the end of that matter for ********, July 2, 2025, I received an email purporting to be from Alliant prompting me to review my June statement. At first I thought it might be a scam, since I didnt have an account with ********************** any longer, but I went to Alliant's official website and logged on. I discovered they still listed an open account for me. When I called, very upset, to inquire about what had occurred, they informed me that my account was indeed still open although they could see a record that I was told it was closed in February.They stated they could close the account out now. I explained that I wasnt comfortable with that and wanted them to correct the record to show the account had been closed out in February. Both the first ****** I spoke to and her supervisor informed me that was impossible. I stated my concerns about credit reporting and, quite frankly, my concern that someone else could have tried to use the account while it was open and should not have been or that Alliant may try to charge me for having an open account during that time. The supervisor emphasized the has been no activity on the account since February and that Alliant doesnt charge. Quite frankly though, I have lost any confidence in Alliants representations. I would like them to correctly reflect that my account was closed in February 2025.

      He we go ******** I have contacted you guys before about ****************trying to receive my funds in check for for two years,after contacting you guys they finally sent me a check .thank you very much for your your service.well as you know like I've explained before,I'm disabled,I have stage4 cancer .anyways not being able to get around.i couldn't cash this check so I found a credit union that I could mobile deposit the check..well I did that but not knowing I had to pay a $25 dollar fee.well the check cleared and the excepted it .but when I received my card in the mail I contacted them and they told me that the account is closed .now this has been going on for three months I've been telling them to just send me a check . because I opened a new account with them I paid the $25 dollar fee,but for some reason they won't send my check..all I want to do is deposit it back into the open account..I've even tried to transfer the money to my son's account everything went thru the next day I called them and verified the transfer.and they cancelled it without my permission..I don't know what's going on or why they are doing this .but I need your help again please and thank u.
