      Took my fiance 50inch zero turn cub cadet up to have worked on. It was running when loaded on trailer. Myself and a gentleman pushed it into there shop on July 2nd. After a week or so my fiance went there was told the motor was blown than they said locked up. And the air filter was or had gotten wet and it allowed grass to be sucked in and lock motor up. So they than g o to tell her its not a manufacturer defect and not covered. Well they showed her a filter and the top cover was off they had nothing motor wise torn down for proof. I also took it up last summer as well as I stated it quit and had been blowing black smoke. I was told had a big stick caught in blades and motor was good. As a big motor mechanic with lots of knowledge on bigger motors air filters will not allow a motor to lock up. And with the zero turn having a cover over it and is always closed nothing big would be allowed to be sucked into it in the 1st place. This place has been horrible towards any warranty repairs as I know other people have same issue and this business will do a deal and only cover half the cost and want the customer to cover the other half. Even on the turo push mowers they did this to a lady mower twice and was told she put wrong gas in it so they didnt have to cover the cost. Cub cadet said its covered under warranty but they want to place the blame on the owner and not have to warranty anything they sell. I would like to have them honor the warranty like they should and not lie on paperwork to not get it covered so they don't have to fix it. Cub cadet did say they never had an issue before with any warranty work when it comes to there equipment. 1 way to tell if they are lied or just don't know what they are doing is to keep making up excuses and keep changing them. Black smoke is an internal issue **** as seals/ rings. I would like this fixed under warranty and than we will take it to another certified dealer to have further work on.
