    In April, we entered into a contract for the installation of new windows and an exterior door, as well as siding replacement and renovations to both the front porch and back deck. Despite multiple follow-ups via calls and text messages, work did not commence until June 30th and was finally completed on August 28th.The contractor repeatedly asked for additional funds throughout the project, stating he couldn't purchase materialsdespite having been given upfront payments specifically for those expenses. On several occasions, we discovered that he had misrepresented the facts. For example, he used old or incorrect materials, including windows and an exterior door that were the wrong sizes. He also failed to order the decking material we had selected, later claiming that the supplier had mistakenly given it to another contractor.Additionally, he asserted that he had removed the old vents before installing the new soffit, which proved to be untrue; we had to insist he correct the work. We were also charged for materials that were never used on the project, and he was unwilling to issue a refund for returned items.Overall, this project was marked by poor communication, mismanagement, and dishonesty, resulting in a very disappointing experience.
