    I'm writing to complain about a recent stay in Cedar Rapids, IA. The above confirmation number and the ********* number where made weeks in advance to secure our travel plans. When we arrived at the Radisson Hotel we were told that the hotel was booked full. I gave them my confirmation number and was told I booked it thru a third party and there was nothing they could do. The web page lists a 800 number for reservation which is thru Choice Hotels which is not a third party. I live in ********************* so now I'm 5 hours from home trying to find a hotel room. NOTE no help from the Radisson or the Choice hotel **************************************************************************************************************************** Cedar Rapids it was a lot of effort and stress. So instead of paying $383.36 for the room I reserved for two nights I was forced to spend $722.29 for a room.. To add insult to injury in the meantime I'm getting messages from Radisson asking me how my stay was. There is no customer service email or an address to send a complaint only the 800 number with people who will forward your request. From a service standpoint I give Choice Hotels a F. Hopefully this does not fall on deaf ears. Sincerely,****** **** ****** ****

    Good *************************************** has just taken over this property. We are very sorry for any issues that may have occurred in the past. However, the confirmation # ********* Mr. **** provided is not a Choice Hotels confirmation number and does not exist in our system. In addition, we searched for the name provided by this guest, and we do not have his name in our system. We are deeply sorry for his experience however it does indeed appear he attempted to book through a third-party reservation. Should the guest want to reach out to me directly he can email me at ****************************** and I will gladly work with him to find a solution to his problem. However based on information provided the hotel is not at fault for his reservation not being in our system as he did not provide us with a confirmation number for our brand or our hotel.
