    May 15, 2025 $500 paid upfront 3 months for Climate control storage for my daughter and her friends college apartment stuff. My daughter moved their stuff out of storage on August 9, 2025. When she opened the storage unit it smelled of mildew and examining her items in the unit things were covered in mold. Also the humidity in the storage area was extremely humid and didnt seem like it was climate controlled at all like advertised on their page. When I spoke with a Mr. Storage manager on August 11 explaining the incident she stated that we didnt get insurance through them so there was nothing they could do. Although she (*****) stated that the climate control storage units shouldnt phave high humidity in them. So I feel as though the Mr. storage is breaching the contract by not providing the service that they advertise. And there facilities arent up to the standard that they charged additional money. We had mattresses and box springs that could potentially cause health risk for our girls. We cant see the mold on their mattresses, but the smell of mildew is present. We felt like spending the extra money for climate control storage should have protected their items like the advertisement states. I feel as though they should cover the cost of replacing these items. And all the cleaning material we used over the last weekend.
