I purchased a plot of trees as an investment about 8 years ago. I was told at the time my first payout would be around this time. I have sent NUMEROUS emails and left MULTIPLE voicemail messages. I know they are receiving the messages because when I first sent a message back in October of 2022 I did get a response of "Did you receive the message the president sent you?" My reply was no, obviously I did not or I wouldn't be reaching out again. Since then it has been crickets...nothing I have reached out over 10 times. Starting to think this company is a SHAM but they have A+ rating on here which is odd..I need help please getting them to respond this is not okay!

      Business Response

Subject: Response to Complaint by *****************************

      Dear Better Business Bureau,

We are writing in response to the complaint filed by **************************** regarding her concerns about our communication. We take customer satisfaction seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.

Firstly, we would like to acknowledge ****************** frustration regarding our communication. We have reviewed our records and attached to this letter the email correspondences between HLH and *************, as well as the evidence of her website activity. These attachments demonstrate our consistent efforts to respond to her inquiries and provide updates.

As per our records, we have sent multiple email responses to **************. On May 11th, we replied to her inquiry from May 10th, and subsequently on May 13th, we responded to her email where she expressed gratitude for the update. Later that same day, we received another email from ************** claiming she had not received anything, prompting our admin to resend the email. Another email was sent to ************** on May 31st to ensure she was kept informed.

In addition, the document showing ****************** website login activity clearly indicates that she has reviewed our monthly newsletters on numerous occasions since May 10th. This serves as further evidence that we have been actively engaging with ************** and providing her with relevant information.

Contrary to ****************** complaint, we have no record of her calling our company. However, in my personal correspondence with **************, I provided her with my personal contact number, encouraging her to reach out to me directly if she had any questions or concerns. We regret any misunderstanding or oversight that *** have occurred but assure you that we have made genuine efforts to communicate with her effectively.

We would like to emphasize that our delays in meeting our harvest schedule are a direct result of the unprecedented challenges posed by the ******19 pandemic followed by 20 months of lockdown. Many of our employees could not wait for us to reopen and had to relocate to the mainland because of economic reasons. Once the economy opened back up again, we began the re-hiring and retraining process and began placing orders for the necessary heavy equipment needed for our harvest and milling operations. Once the economy began to open back up, the nation-wide pent-up demand for heavy equipment quickly depleted inventories and many operations like ours were put on waiting lists for equipment. These equipment manufacturers were facing the same problems that we were facing (lack of workers and lack of materials to create goods and services) this has slowed production and driven costs up more than 100%. Even though the supply chain is now back open, it is only at a fraction of its previous capacity. These events have set our milling schedule back by at least three years. Although we will be operational later this year, it will only be at a fraction of the capacity we need to be at. due to the lack of available equipment. The situation is improving but the process is slow.

We understand the financial strain ************** *** be experiencing due to the delay, and we sympathize with her situation. We know there is no quick fix for turning on our milling operations, but perhaps we can offer her a refund of her purchase price. We believe this gesture will address her cash issues and demonstrate our commitment to customer satisfaction.

We apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience experienced by **************. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position and work towards a resolution. Should you require any further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************
      CEO
