    My mom is owed a total refund of $5269.32 for the unused day for her stay at Aiea Heights rest home. She paid $13,612 for her to stay one month Dec 1 through Dec 31, 2024. She left Aiea Heights Rest Home on December 18, 2024. I received a check from Aiea Heights Rest Home on January 30, 2024 and the amount was for $2649.76. There's was no explanation of why they only paid a portion of the amount. I'm seeking for them to to pay the remaining $2619.56 and not make us wait another 30 days. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the check sent bounces. This business is not trustworthy and unethical.

    We appreciate your patience during the matter. This customer was issued a check for $2,649.76, accounting for their full refund. The remaining amount of $2,619.56 mentioned was subtracted from their partial rent payment, as there were insufficient funds in their account to cover the full cost of their care fees during their stay at our facility. Our email correspondence and records reflect that this was only a misunderstanding, which was resolved after the customer contacted their bank to confirm that there was in fact insufficient funds within their account. Customer has since acknowledged this mistake and has certified to having received their full refund.
