Doing a job does not equate to good customer service if you don't finish, but no worries Tim E***** Middle Ga Handyman, I'm not angry nor will I disparage your work. Next time, I'll be certain to move differently when I pay in full for a job. My experience is not anyone else's so y'all hire who you want for your projects

*******, thank you for the feedback and for trusting Middle Ga Handyman with your project. I’m truly sorry for the frustration you experienced when I missed the follow-up visit. That’s on me.
The contracted scope was completed to specifications, and at the walkthrough — once payment and the contract were complete — you shared how happy you were with the finished porch, even telling me how great the work looked and about the compliments you had already received. Several days later, you asked about two additional items — the hydraulic door closer and a bottom door seal — which were outside the written agreement. I told you I’d try to come back and help with those, but I failed to make it back in a timely way.
I take full responsibility for that. Unfortunately, I was dealing with health issues that left me physically unable to follow through, though my intent was never to ignore your request. It’s unfortunate that these small, non-contracted items have overshadowed the completed project and all of the positive feedback you expressed at the time.
My goal with every project is to leave customers feeling taken care of, and I regret that this situation did not end on the high note it began with. I sincerely appreciate your business and truly hope you continue to enjoy your new porch for many years to come.

Did not return to complete job. Unfinished; left part of porch unscreen, electrical wires disconnected and left hanging, steps cracked and roof leaks. Message contractor photos and leak videos but no answer. We have had other contractors look to give quotes to fix but no one will touch the pouch without a complete remove and replace. Have proof of contacting and photos.

Thank you for your feedback. I take all concerns seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address the situation. Throughout the project, there were several challenges that impacted the completion and final outcome. Initially, the job site was not fully cleared as required, which significantly delayed progress. While it was not part of our contract, I moved multiple heavy items, including grills, furniture, and cabinets, to proceed with the work. I understood that the homeowner was unavailable, but this added unexpected labor and time to the project. Regarding the screening, I advised that it was not yet completed and requested that the area remain undisturbed. Despite signs being posted, the screen was pushed and interacted with before installation was finalized. Additionally, the stairs were blocked and taped off during construction because they were not yet fully supported. Unfortunately, they were used despite these precautions, which contributed to the reported cracks. It is also important to note that materials purchased for the project were removed by a guest of the homeowners without being returned or reimbursed, creating additional setbacks. During the project, there were clear disagreements between the husband and wife regarding the work being done. When I was informed about a leak during a storm, I immediately assured the wife that I would take care of it. However, later that same day, the husband called with threats and accusations, making it difficult to resolve the issue in a professional manner. Lastly, I never requested final payment, as per the contract, which clearly states that payment is due upon completion of the project. My priority has always been to provide quality work and ensure customer satisfaction. If there are any remaining concerns, I am open to discussing a resolution in a professional and constructive manner.

    Sincerely,

    Tim E*****
