  I had Hands you Demand reinforce a joist in my crawl space. This space was small but the workers did the job in a timely manner and were very professional and pleasant. I am extremely pleased with the work they did. I will call them for future jobs. *** is a wonderful person to work with.

  In 2016 I had damaged wood and molding trim replaced. The wood buckled and I notified them and was told there was nothing they could do since the company changed ownership in 2019. Their repairman came out and gave me a quote of $1,405.77. I had another repairman from another company come out to get a second quote and was told that the original repairman who completed the first job used MDF Fiberboard which was the wrong material for outside repairs. The 1st job cost $678. The 2nd quote that I received was $490. In addition to using inferior materials, the cost of repairs was outrageously priced. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone.

  Hi *********************, sorry we could not meet your expectation. You approached us in October 2022, wanting a free service for a wood damage and reframed cornice job that was successfully completed back in 2016. We declined your request on the basis that your warranty has substantially expired (after 6 years) but offered to do a new assessment immediately. ************** came out as quickly as possible and established that you have new wood deterioration from poor weather and lack of protection. We provided you with a new quote for the repair but you were still asking for significant discount which we declined. We are glad you have been able to fix this and wish you all the best with future projects.

  How was the job successfully completed if the material used was not for outside use? The material used was MDF Fiberboard which is the reason why it deteriorated. The new quote was more than double the original amount charged. The quote that I received from another company was less than half your quote. I said nothing about wanting "free service." The original job was a botched job and the technician would not admit this once I brought it to his attention. I spoke with a professional and now I know why the repairs did not last as long as they should have. Based on your exorbitant quote and lack of quality materials, I could not in good faith use your services a second time.

  HYD did an excellent job with our master bathroom remodel. Highly recommend!We needed to remodel our bathroom after some water got behind some tile, causing damage. When we first got quotes, we chose HYD not because it was the cheapest, but because the project manager (Tee) gave a thorough estimate, asked good questions, and gave us the confidence he had the time, attention, and skill set to get it done right. We also liked working with a company local in ******.We got started on the project - despite many supply delays (supply chain woes of 2021/2022) HYD worked with our schedule and got crews out to the home quickly as our materials arrived. The crews worked with us to implement the design we wanted, including customizations around tile design, colors, and materials. It was clear to me that the crews had a good relationship with HYD and Tee - which we appreciated and was a sign of mutual trust. HYD was very communicative and worked around our calendar to schedule crew visits.As the project neared completion, one member of the plumbing crew (appeared to be an apprentice) made an error of inexperience, leading to water damage in our walls and garage ceiling. It was a major bummer, as the project was nearly finished, and we were going to have to open some walls and pull back carpet to assess and repair the damage. However, HYD went above and beyond to rectify the issue. They worked to pull up carpet, dry our walls, repaint and repair damaged areas, and return the damaged spaces back to normal. They also provided compensation by making all repairs at no cost to us and providing double the compensation we had asked for for the lost time and hassle.In my view, this was what made HYD stand out above other contractors and firms weve worked with in the past: when the damage was done, they took ownership of it, fixed it as quickly as possible, and gave us double what we asked for in compensation for the time lost and hassle.
