I contacted the leasing office on 10/16/21 via email specifically Asst. ******** Manager ********** about a my next door neighbor renting out his apartment as an airbnb. I told her that every weekend someone new came and had luggage with them. From the peephole in my door, I can see everyone walking down the hall way, so the hallways always echoed and I could hear loud noise. So I would see people coming in and out of the apartment next door. I then looked on Airbnb and found the listing and sent it to **********. She said that she would send it to their corporate headquarters to handle. In the meantime, people are still coming in and out. At one point it got so loud I had to call the police for a noise disturbance. I followed up on the same month (Oct) to see was there any progress. The Asst. *** said a letter was sent to the tenant to remove the listing off of the Airbnb website. I was approached by my neighbor shortly after receiving the letter asking me if his "family" was too loud and I told him that I was hardly home due to traveling. At that point, I became a bit scared because I now think he thinks I am the one who "ratted him out". So now, I am feeling a bit unsafe due to the many people in and out and the weekly noise disturbances. I followed up on 11/15, 11/24 and then 12/5 to see what progress has been made. They mentioned there was a court date scheduled for 12/14. II was contacted by the ******** Manager, ******* and she apologized about what I was having to go thru and they said they were doing their best and it was the courts mercy. I then asked her if I could terminate my lease early without penalty because of the nuisance that was going on and the feeling of being unsafe in my own apartment. My mother came to take care of me on 11/5 due to surgery and she was even concerned. I was contacted the morning of 12/14 to take pictures of any furniture on the balcony (which touches mine). So I did and sent the pic on 12/14. There is more to the story
