On 12/05/2023 My vehicle was towed and the company overcharged me. They charged me $245.00 and it says on the Georgia website page that the minimum is $50.00 to $175.00 and they only had my vehicle less than 24 hours. And I have the receipt where the lady stated that they towed my vehicle from.

This is in response to the complaint of overcharging on a tow.

On December 5, 2023, we were dispatched by the ******** ****** **** to perform a tow on this vehicle due to it not having any insurance on it. We are a contracted tow provider for the City of ******** with contracted pricing that is monitered by them.  I have attached a copy of the pricing page of this contract to show that the contract price for this tow was $250.00.  I have also attached a copy of her receipt.

When I ran Ms. ****** credit card it only ran it for .02 and then the next time it ran for .04 in error.  After my card machine ran it incorrectly 2 times, we decided to do a final charge of only $245.00.  This only totals $245.06 of a total amount owed of $250.00.  So we did not charge her the full amount and do not owe her a refund.
