Please Read!!!! I had a bad experience at Kudzu Seafood downtown Macon. I don’t even eat seafood but I went to have a nice brunch with my friends. I ordered a 12 oz Ribeye steak. I asked the waitress for some A1 steak sauce and she gave me the steak sauce but the bottle was empty so I asked for some more steak sauce. The waitress brought me another bottle of A1 steak and it was totally empty. I told her need to see the manager and he came to the table. I asked him how was I going to eat my steak without any steak sauce. The manager went to the back & made some SUPPOSEDLY steak sauce. I told him I wasn’t going to eat that because it wasn’t A1. He got upset with me for no reason so he said I will give you half off the steak meal but at the same time he was trying to take my plate away so I told I am not paying for no steak if he was going to take it. I barely touch the steak. The waitress brought the receipt and I was charged for the steak and said again I am not paying for this steak at all but I will pay for the rest of the food. The manager brought me another receipt without the steak on it and told me don’t you never come here to eat again. I told him don’t worry. I asked for the owner & some little old lady came to the table & explained to her what happened she did say a word. I told her he was wrong and I didn’t appreciate being handled in that manner. Kudzu is very prejudiced restaurant and I told them I was going to tell people about my experience. The manager was very unprofessional and I will never eat at Kudzu Restaurant downtown Macon again.
