In April ******* we contracted with Burgess Flooring Center in Macon Georgia to refloor our entire home. Paying them $10,646.23. To-date the job is still incomplete and what was done is unprofessional done. We have waited some 10 months for the work to be completed and rectified the parts not done properly. We have called, texted, emailed and even went there in person. We are giving to one person after another. With promises that it will be done tomorrow or the next day. We have gone weeks with no one answering our calls and messages. We have been told several times that they have big jobs that they need to do. As if the completion of our home is not of importance. Basically we feel that since we paid them they no longer seem to care. They had our family stay in a hotel for two days while they sand and stained the stairs. Only to find upon return that the stairs were not done. Months went by and we were told that they could not do the stairs. So why did we stay in a hotel for 2 days? To appease us they said they would paint the stairs now they have no memory of that. Parts of the flooring that were done have broken and other parts have holes and abrupt ending. It looks as if we did it instead of hiring professionals to do it. We paid them exactly what they asked for. We did not try and bargain the price. However we are getting sub-par work. After months of waiting and begging them to give us a date to fix it. We were told February ** 2022 now on the day of they are once again telling us that they cannot come. That they will come tomorrow. We are missing work to be here to let them in. Unfortunately we have had this happen with them many times and tomorrow never comes. We just want them to honor the contract in which we have already paid. And to do it professionally as we are the ones who have gone with out for nearly a year.
