    On *******, I contracted Marcus G*** dba LMG Masonry to build brick entry steps at the front and rear of my home. He wrote an invoice indicating $400 for materials, which was paid that day, and $1400 due upon completion. His workers completed the rear steps and partially completed the front steps. During completion he gave me numerous sob stories on how he needed some additional monies before completion so I made 3 additional payments totalling $1150 as work was being done on days that the weather allowed. His last date of work was ******* where the work was done by Marcus himself; prior to then it was completed by an older man in his employ. I advised him the next day the work he did was shoddy and needed to be redone as it was falling apart. He advised on 6 different occasions (dates) since then that the older man would be out to fix it but failed to show up or call or text, except to tell me he would return on a future date. His last contact was **** via text where he advised he didn't know when they could finish the job. He has refused to return calls or texts since that date and I have an unfinished job plus he left messes at 3 different areas of my property, even though I in good faith paid him $1150 towards the $1400 that was not supposed to be collected upon completion (my fault for trying to help him out). I have also texted him asking for his insurance information as I was injured on **** due to a fall from the shoddy work, but as stated he has failed to contact me since ****. I either want him to finish the job in a timely manner or let me hire someone else to complete it and reimburse me for additional costs, plus provide me with his liability insurer's contact information so I may file a claim for injuries.

    Did decent work, except he messed up the front flowerbed, then has refused to come fix it for 6 months, although he kept telling me he would. Now that I am fixing it, I have realized that he used the wrong mortar, it’s a different color than my house. Then when he got called out, he texted me to explain that it didn’t hurt his business, he has already pulled x amount of dollars out of my subdivision, more than I probably make. Very unprofessional, would recommend going a different route.
