    I had made reservations with the Baymont Inn in for two rooms for a three day stay. My reservations were for **** *** *** *** ** 2023. My confirmation numbers for the two rooms were ************* for a room with two beds and confirmation number ************* for a room with a king bed. When I arrived the evening of **** ** to check in, I was informed by the clerk at the front desk that one of my rooms had been given to someone else even though I had prepaid for the room. The hotel was completely booked and had no other rooms. The front desk clerk told me that they did have the one room still available but when I went to inspect the room, I found it totally unacceptable. The shower had tiles missing on the shower walls and the shower smelled mildew no doubt from the water getting behind the walls with the missing shower tiles. I took some toilet paper and ran it across the shower floor and the toilet paper came up black with dirt and human hair. The sink faucet had a constant leak that wouldn't turn off. I went back to the front desk to complain about the room but the clerk told me there was nothing she could do because the hotel was completely booked. I used the room to make reservations at another ******* ***** ******** ** ******   I have called customer service at Wyndham Hotels and they directed me to contact the hotel manager directly at the Baymont Inn. I have made numerous calls to the hotel to talk with the manager but hadn't had any luck contacting her. When I call the hotel and choose the manager option on their phone options, I get a message that the manager is not available and that her voice mail box is full so I'm not able to leave a message, I have called the front desk and on my first attempt at three in the afternoon, I was told that the manager had already left and wasn't available. I asked if I could leave my name and number for her to call me back. I never received a call back. I want my money back.

    Slums should be SHUT DOWN! I was in Macon on a work assignment and got off at 7am. Upon entry, the front desk receptionist did not greet us, and ignored our attempts to get her attention as she conversed with a RESIDENT (most of the people LIVE HERE). Once we got her attention, we asked to check in and she said “I don’t know how to check in reservations, I do walk ins. You have to wait on the manager.” She called the manager and she said she doesn’t come in today. Our attempt to get a refund was to no avail “per policy”. We paid an additional $30 to check in before 3pm. Everyone’s children ran around on both floors all day being very loud and hanging out. Whenever we stepped outside, people begged for things and even asked if they could come into our room to use the restroom because hotel employees were too busy to reprogram their keys and they’ve been locked out of their room waiting (of course heck naw). The owner was on property but refused to speak to customers about anything, so NOTHING was done about our complaints.
