This property doesn't deserve a star. I applied for rental assistance on **/**/2021. I was falling behind on paying my rent and some of my bills due to me not making enough on my previous job. On **/**/2022 I lost my job. When I applied for assistance in December. My family and I were residence of Creekside at Macon. On **/**/2022 I was informed by a letter that someone bought the property Creekside at Macon. The previous landlord told me that she was no longer our landlord. She said it was new owners coming in but she didn't know who they were. She also state d that she did not know the property was being sold. I got help from Georgia rental assistance me and my family qualified for our rent to be paid up to June in the amount of $2,408. I can see that the rent was paid to Creekside but I have a balance with Walnut Creek in the amount of $2,880. Which I don't understand because my rent was paid by the Georgia rental assistance program up to June to Creekside. My rent balance with Creekside that was due was $1,500. I receive help from Georgia rental assistance that paid $2,408 for my rent to be paid up to June my family qualified for it. I should only owe a payment to Walnut Creek for July. I was unable to make that payment because I'm still unemployed. I received a text message alert from the new company Walnut Creek. Stating that now my rent is $3,750. I don't understand why I have a balance of $3,750 when Georgia rental assistance paid the rent for me to Creekside. I have the documents showing that my rent was paid! who it was paid to, the amount of money that was paid also. I'm not sure what's going on but. I would like for someone to help me in this situation.
