Summary of Complaint:I purchased a 2022 travel trailer from Maxie Price RV in **********, ** on 6/10/25. Since purchase, the unit has been unusable for nearly half the time I have owned it due to repeated defects and mishandling by the dealership. Despite MULTIPLE efforts to get this situation handled through texts, phone calls, messages, and voicemails. We posted ****** reviews describing our experience as well as sharing our experience on social media. And after that, we were admonished by the dealership by sharing our experience and "making them look bad", to the extent that I was blocked from the dealership and unable to reach out to them with my concerns through their social media. Details:Within 4 days, the slide-out broke and the unit had to be retrieved by the dealer. It was kept 5 days for repairs. This was AFTER they kept it for 5 days after purchasing per THEIR policy to address any issues in the camper and "seal" the roof.On 8/1/25, I returned it for a cracked sink (damaged while in the dealers possession) and a dead battery. Despite this, I was quoted $200 for the sink repair. On 8/13/25, when the dealer scheduled pickup, the battery was still dead and had to be replaced on the spot.On 8/22/25, during my first overnight trip, the replacement battery again failed, pointing to a likely inverter issue.Additionally, I purchased a warranty through the dealership, but the warranty company has no record of my account because ******************** never submitted the paperwork. I was sold a product I cannot use.Desired Resolution:Proper filing of my warranty paperwork and proof of ************* repair of all warranty-related issues (sink, inverter/battery, etc.).Assurance that future warranty obligations will be honored.Business Response

The customer called the dealership because the slides would not come in on the camper. The dealership sent a driver from ******* to ******* to pick the camper up, free of charge, and brought it back to the service department. Upon inspection, the slide was inoperable due to operator error. Our technician never had to bring it into the shop to complete the repair. The battery was dead upon arrival. We recharged the battery and tested the converter. Everything worked to specifications. As for the sink, the service department maintains it was broken by the customer, not while in our possession. The $200.00 quote for the repair was a goodwill gesture from the dealership. The repair was offered below cost and the dealership waived the diagnostic fee we charge every service customer. As for replacing the battery, that was also done as a goodwill gesture. The standard service would have been to recharge the existing battery, but the dealership replaced it with a brand new battery. It was also explained to the customer that the manner in which they are using their camper is going to result in the battery dying if they do not use their generator to charge it. As for the warranty, it is registered and active with the warranty company, and has been since the end of June. The check was issued to the warranty company on 6/18/2025, only 8 days after the customer purchased the unit. The customer is advised to contact the warranty company to confirm. As for the 5 day waiting period between purchase and delivery, this is a common practice in the ** industry and is disclosed to our customers at the time of purchase. ******************** wants all of our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase and experience.Initial Complaint

We went to check out a used camper at Maxie Price RV on July 22 2025. After discussing price and the owner saying he would honor the online price which was ******* lower, the owner agreed he would honor it. Then while getting the paperwork done, they never gave us a copies. We called them asking for copies and they emailed them. After looking at the emailed copies, I realized a lot of the numbers had changed. The purchase price went from ******** to ********, the warranty went from ****** to ******* and DOC fees were *******. The paperwork they emailed didn't. have my signature. I called but they would not return my calls.Business Response

I have attached a signed **** of Sale that shows the same Retail Price as the one sent by Mr. ************** The purchase price of this unit was, in fact, $15987.00 as shown on the attachment. The difference between the BOS attached and the one sent by Mr. ******* are the accessories totaling $2769.00 (battery, interior protection, and theft and security device.) Also, there is nowhere in the deal paperwork that says the warranty would be $300.00. We cannot sell an extended service contract for below cost. Our standard doc fee is $999.00 on every single deal, and prints automatically on all paperwork. We have no way to change that, so it would have been printed on all documents. Please note the attached bill of sale is signed by Mr. ******* and has the same "Amount to Finance" at the bottom as the document Mr. ************* attached to his complaint. The only difference is the accessories are not line itemized on the Bill of Sale he was sent. Due to all customer signatures being present and accounted for on all of the documents in the deal, as well as all figures matching the retail contract, we will not be issuing any refunds for this deal.Initial Complaint

Purchased rvs July 2024 from ***** price rv and was told they were ready to go. Once got to Maxie price rv it was about 3 hours later that I was unhooking items to get on the road as was getting late. Soon we left the underpinning on new rv came loose exposing all the wiring. Called Maxie price immediately after noticing which was prob 25 mins and they tried to blame on my driving? After working to secure bottom on side of the road we decided to get to rv site. Where we found many other items not working or even tested for that matter. Horrible service and they will lie to you to any money. Their responses here should tell it as well. No sorry or will come help you. Just defense on horrible service. Good luck with Maxie price rv.Business Response

We understand the customers complaint, and would like to help resolve the issues, but the customer refuses to bring the camper in for our service department to assess the problem. We have explained that we do not have a mobile mechanic on staff, and are only authorized to perform work on business property. Our attempts to text the customer to schedule an appointment have gone unanswered as well. Maxie Price RV wants all of our customers to be satisfied, and we are more than happy to repair the camper if the customer brings the unit in.Initial Complaint

Bought a brand new **** ** on 01/20/**** sign contract and loan agreement . The person in the office name ********************* inform us that after signing will take them a couple of days to get the ** ready for pick and Orientation. As of now today is 02/10/**** they still haven't call us to come to perform PDI/Orientation. Been calling the dealership asking when is the ** ready. Contacted them 01/29/**** they said it's still with technician. And contacted them 02/01/**** they says the ** is ready but have a cracked on the kitchen countertop waiting to be fixed, but we can still come pick up. We refused because once we pick up means we are accepting a malfunction item and any repairs will be up to their mercy and know they will drag for longer. At this point we need help in canceling and getting money back to get another ** somewhere else. Once we signed the contract they sales/loan office won't pick up phone wanting to ask them to cancel to exchange for something else. The family is having a trip coming up for the kids winter break on 02/19/****. They are causing such a hassle. Going on 3 weeks still don't have the new ** with everything working. We still have no PDI or Orientation. So Frustrated that's why coming here to ask for help.Business Response

This customer refused to take delivery because there was a minor, cosmetic issue which did not effect the use of the camper. All repairs have been completed, and the customer has taken delivery of this unit. This unit has already been registered to the customer and a lien has been recorded with the state. It is not possible to cancel this deal.Initial Complaint

On Friday April 14th 2023 Maxie Price RV and I agreed to a purchase of a new 2022 Tracer RV model 24DBS vin# ***************** for total out the door amount including all fees, title, ********* of $34,024.37. I advised them I was going to contact my credit union on Monday 4/17/23 for financing and would be back at the dealership before closing on Monday. The sales manager and sales associate both told me they would hold the camper for me and a deposit wouldn't be needed. Maxie Price was involved in the negotiations and aware of the agreement for me to come back on Monday. They even sent me a text to confirm they were marking the camper as sold. This morning 4/17/23, I was informed they sold the unit to someone else yesterday. Their solution is to sell me a similar 2023 unit for MORE money. This is a clear bait and switch tactic. They need to provide the same or similar camper at the agreed upon price.Initial Complaint

Camper purchased mid October. We asked to pick it up in 2 weeks, they delayed us an extra week almost missing out trip. On top of that, the salesman told us all the things he would make sure were done or included for our ** and ended up charging us for everything, most of which was not done. We went on one trip in January, multiple issues noted that were not noticed prior to purchase (faulty shower head, low water pressure, black water tank buildup, no deadbolt, missing mattress cover, mold in the ac until, etc...) Dropped ** off in January 2023 with the understanding I would be deployed most of February, and return to ********* early March before a trip. Returned March 1st, salesman I was working with no long employed, and camper sat on the lot for a month with no one knowing why or looking into it. It wasn't until I called to get it back before our trip I found this out along with the fact that NONE of the work had been done because they didn't know they had my ** or what work was supposed to be done. Gave them the list again. Took up until the day we were supposed to leave to get it back and only had 4 of the 5 items fixed. When I contacted the company again they said just bring it back, but that's almost an hour drive and I noticed the table is now cracked and it wasn't when I dropped the ** off. It has been one headache after another.Initial Complaint

This concerns a warranty issue on my RV/Camper on which the awning collapsed on the third use. My wife and I were inside the camper when we heard a snap. Upon looking outside I noticed that the awning collapsed on the left side. There was no wind that day. We were in ************** at the time. I was able to secure the awning and get back to Georgia where we were to stay at my father's house before our next destination of **********. We had planned on taking the camper to **********, but could not with the condition of the awning. My father offered to take the camper to Maxie Price for the warranty service while we drove to **********. He dropped the camper off on September 21, 2022, at Maxie Price RV. After not hearing anything I called on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:48 pm and left a message with **** asking for an update. Didn't hear anything. Called again on October 28, 2022, at 11:13 am and **** did answer the phone. I gave him my information and he informed me that they contacted ******* (the awning manufacturer), sent them pictures and ******* denied the warranty. I explained to **** what had happened and that the damages were not caused by us, my wife can testify to that as well. **** offered to contact ******* again to see if they could rectify the situation. **** also made a commitment to call me back by the end of the day. It has now been five business days and I have still not heard from ****. My main concern is that if I didn't call Maxie Price myself on October 28th, would I have even heard anything? My wife and I are getting ready to travel in January. I've done some research and made contact with other RV shops and they all have informed me that it will take two months to get replacement parts for the awning. Well, as I said we will be ready to travel again in less than that time. I am beginning to question whether or not Maxie Price has my best interest in mind as a consumer. My camper is still under warranty. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I purchased an ** in September 2020, then traded it in April of 2022 with my loan closure letter coming June of 2022. After the loan is closed, Maxie Price RV is supposed to pay the leftover warranty and gap (which was not supposed to be in my loan) back. They have refused to return my calls, emails, and even follow up with me after visiting in person. It's now November 2022, and they are still hiding trying to avoid paying me back. After speaking to the ** "marketplace," it seems this is a common practice at Maxie Price RV and needs to be addressed. I'm owed a large sum of money back, and they are completely unprofessional handling the matter. True scam artists at Maxie Price RV..
