    Approximately one month ago *****/2023). I was driving my 2018 ****** ****** to ********** and my transmission completely went out on my car. I had to get it towed to the nearest dealership which was Nissan of Lagrange. They held my car for two weeks with no communication about the time it would take to get diagnosed. We had to call them every day to get any details of the car. It did not get diagnosed until over 2 weeks of being there. It was then concluded that it was the transmission and needed to be replaced. A few days later (which makes it 3 weeks now) I was told by the rep named Brooke that the car was being worked on. So another week goes by and I didn't get any updates. So I call them on *** and they tell me that they have to have a special technician replace the transmission and won't be available until the middle of the next week because he is taking classes. I then called the corporate office and they only offered a $250 rental car reimbursement. That won't even last 3 days with rental car prices. I have not had my car for over a month now and it is extremely inconvenient trying to get around. I have to go to work....go grocery shopping etc. And they can't even keep me updated without me calling them. All I want is a rental until the car is fixed. Not $250 reimbursement. The car has only around 43K miles on it, so it is completely unacceptable for me to inconvenienced like this on such a fairly new car. All of this is added to the fact that it happened on the highway and could have caused me serious harm.

    DO NOT PURCHASE the Nissan ***** 2023 from this or any location. Do a search first for the issues with this car. Throttle body part issues. Do cars breakdown? Yes Do new cars breakdown? I'm hoping less frequently but it's possible.The quality of production has gone down everywhere. The service you will receive from this location and their corporate office is Garbage. They sold me new car with eight thousand miles, which completely shuts down while on the highway and by God's Grace no one was behind me. It is towed to their service department and day two I called every hour on the hour to find out what was wrong with my car and to get a loaner because hey I still have to work to pay this car note. They never answered the phone. I had to call the sales department to have someone walk back there to get them to answer the phone. Seth did nothing. Referred me to the service manager Nate who did nothing but tell me they don't have a loaner. He did promise my car would be ready by noon the next day and here I am typing because not one person called me from the dealership or the service department. They won't guarantee to reimburse me for a rental car and I shouldn't have to take on that expense for a car I just purchased brand new. Don't let these salespeople sell you on any related to service because they act like it's a different company once you drive off the lot. Corporate is no better. If I have to spend money on anything it will be an attorney.
