    On 3/18/2024 I called Peach State Building Consultants to get a quote for structural assessment. The owner ***************************** called me back that day and gave me all the confidence that he was qualified to do the work and would give me exactly what I needed. I did not immediately hire PSBC because I was waiting on some other quotes, However, on 3/21/2024 the owner of Peach State Building Consultants called me and said he was in the area and could be at my house that afternoon. I thought why not go ahead and get this taken care of so I hired him for the job and told him I would leave work and meet him at the house. He was actually early and called me to see where I was even though it was earlier than agreed to. He was very cordial and seemed to know what he was doing. He jotted some figures down on a piece of paper, but instead of talking as much about my structure he told dozens of stories about his personal life and how much of a "good samaritan" he is in helping others. He was at our house for 3 and 1/2 hours telling story after story. They were interesting but it was getting late, 7pm, so my wife and I were ready to relax for the evening. So when he said he was going to leave I walked him toward the door and he turned around and asked for his payment. I trusted him so I paid him $800 via my bank's app. He stated he would get to work on my reports that evening. It has now been over 4 weeks. I have heard nothing from them. I have texted, called and left messages at his work and personal numbers, and I have emailed, all multiple times. I have heard nothing and I have received nothing. At this point I don't believe I will get an accurate report so I am requesting a full refund. Buyer beware. Get everything in writing and read reviews!! I would not have been scammed had I done so. By the way, the owner offered his license # to me on the first phone call but he read it off so fast I am not sure he has a license. That was the first red flag I didn't head unfortunately.
