I used Hardy Lake Handyman services to install a patio cover which went smoothly and it was installed very quickly. So I decided to have them install a fence for me as well. This was also done very quickly. Actually a little too quickly by the results. As soon as the fence was in and they were gone my patio cover developed a leak right in the middle, and the fence was not completed according to the contract. It was supposed to have screws installed to hold everything together and it has staples. but only 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom. The boards are technically in place, but are not secured properly. The 2 gates that were installed were screwed on through the hinges into the metal framework to support the gate. But the screws were over tightened and the heads have broken off on the bigger gate. Which now makes it unusable. The boards on that gate do not even go all the way to the ground, and they are uneven all the way across the bottom. The smaller gate does not open fully, but at least it has held on. The boards on the outside of the fence are not even secured at the bottom. There is also mildew on half of the boards that I will need to pressure wash to get cleaned off. I spoke with Wayne about my concerns with everything. and I have been told twice that they will be back in the morning to take care of it and to fix it right. Now he is not responding to email or texts. I believe I will need to get another contractor to fix the issues. Costing me more money and time to get something fixed that should have been corrected. I was also quoted a price initially then told that it had to be increased due to lumber cost. I was fine with paying a little more due to the way things are now with lumber, But the issues noted and the lack of professionalism that has been shown I can not and will not recommend them to anyone else.
