It is essential to ensure that businesses are held accountable for their errors, particularly when it concerns something as significant as your vehicle. On June 13th, I took my 2019 Jeep Wrangler in for a standard oil change, accepted all the recommendation provided by the store manager. However, on June 23rd, I began encountering issues with the vehicle. After having it towed home and inspected by a mechanic, I was informed that the engine had blown due to the incorrect oil used during the oil change. When I addressed this with the store manager, I was informed that the coolant mixing with the oil was a known issue with my vehicle type and not their responsibility. However, it was only after the engine blown that the coolant mixed with the oil. Further investigation uncovered other similar complaints about this establishment, indicating that they may employ uncertified and inexperienced staff. My Jeep was functioning perfectly until the oil change was performed. The use of the wrong oil during the routine maintenance resulted in severe damage to my engine, and it is their duty to resolve this matter.

After ****************** had her vehicle serviced on 06/13/2024, she drove ***** miles in the vehicle in question. She reached out to our shop to let us know she was having vehicle issues, so our certified technicians/mechanic examined the vehicle. We found no faulty workmanship, as the drain plug was dry, and oil filter was tight and secure. The customer states we did not put the correct oil in her vehicle, but the manufacturer recommended oil was used in her vehicle, as described on the invoice from 06/13/24. We examined the vehicle once more, after the customer stated that she believed the wrong oil was used in her vehicle and found that antifreeze was mixed in with her oil, which means there is another internal mechanical issue going on, allowing the antifreeze to mix in with the oil, causing the engine failure. This issue has nothing to do with the oil change performed on 06/13/24. Due to all of our findings during the examinations of the vehicle in question, we have come to the determination that we will not be accepting responsibility for this and will not be covering expenses associated with this.

I took my car in on the 10-31-2023 to have my oil changed and when the technician started working to change my oil I were sitting inside the car as my oil were being changed seemed as if he was having trouble because I started to hear some banging and shaking so that indicates to me maybe he were having some issues. When he finished I paid and asked were everything ok and he answered yes. The next day I moved my car from the stop where I normally park to wash it and noticed that there were oil leaks so I felt that maybe it was from excess oil that had gotten on the outside and maybe had to burn off. I dont drive this car everyday because I have two other cars but when I drove it a few weeks later I seen there were more oil in the driveway so I took the car back to the establishment on 11-28-2023 to let them know about the oil leak and to let them know that this happened after the oil change and were denied any damage or service to correct the problem, my cars are well Maintenance. I only took my car to Grease Monkey because my Mechanic retired after 30 years and both establishments are within 2miles from my home. But I have to say that I were warned that this would not be a good choice so here I am regretting it. I would like for them to take care of this problem because if there were a problem at the time of service I should you informed before service were rendered. Thanks in Advance Sincerely *****************************
