On 3/04/2023 we purchased a trailer. The amount we were given was $7,395.00, but now upon calling to pay it off with early pay option they are telling me we owe $8,064.95. I was informed that the payments made towards the account are not applied to the account and are not considered in the early pay. I wanted to pay the trailer with cash that day and I was told they did not recommend this as I would be reasonable for the sales tax where if I did the loan, we would not have to pay sales taxes since the company was out of *****. We were told that as long as we paid the loan off in 6 months there would be no interest and we would only owe the $7,395.00. Since this is obviously a scam to make money from the loan by not letting the customers pay cash and advising them against this, I would like to get a reimbursement of $1,267.56 which is what I have already paid. If I had not had the cash that day to pay it off, I would not be making this complaint, but I did and that is not how a business should operate. I've uploaded the statement that shows the payments made.
