I spoke with someone regarding the house, and the smell, and manner of the house. I let the property manager know that I would not be interested due to the odor, and the fact that I knew someone perished there. She stated that due to my credit report I was never approved. The issued only partial refund of my funds. I made two separate payments one for 1159.99, and another for 749.99. They have only refunded 1150.00 so. I need the remaining 759.98 that has been paid for a property I never dwelled. Nor was I legally approved for, and some is now occupying

      Good afternoon,

******** *. ********** completed a rental application online on ******** *, ****. She received a conditional approval due to her credit, which required payment of the first and last month's rent in addition to the security deposit.

      Ms. ********** signed a lease on ******** *, ****, with a move-in date of ******** **, ****.

Her ex-husband contacted us for instructions to pay the rent and security deposit online. The security deposit was paid online on ******** *, ****. The prorated rent for ********, in the amount of $728.33, was paid online on ******** **, ****. The last month's rent was paid online in the amount of $1,150 on ******** **, ****.

Ms. ********** traveled from *********** **, to ********* **. After viewing the home and the area, she decided she did not like Columbus and informed us on ******** **, ****, that she would be moving back to ***********.

      **Lease Break Discussion:**

The normal lease break fee is two months' rent. We informed Ms. ********** that she would not be reimbursed for ********'s prorated rent; however, the security deposit was refunded on ******** **, ****, because she did not cause any damage to the property. I assured Ms. ********** that we would work diligently to find another tenant by ***** *, ****, so that her last month's rent could also be refunded. Fortunately, we were able to secure another tenant who is moving into the property on ***** ***. I notified Ms. ********** on ******** **, ****, that the property had been leased and that her last month's rent would be returned to her by ***** **, ****.

I have attached a copy of the tenant ledger. Should you require any additional information, please feel free to contact me at ************.
