checked in at Midnight on ****/23 for a few hours sleep on our travels home. It was questionable looking when we arrived but we gave it a chance. We got room *** and the kids hopped in bed as I got situated. My husband sat a water on the night stand and roaches went to scurrying around. We freaked out and looked around for a second to see if there was more. Sure enough they are crawling up the wall on my side of the bed. Crawling across the pillow on my kids bed. We RAN out of the room as fast as we could. I went up front to let the hotel no I wanted my money back because the room was infested with roaches and we would be going next door. The hotel front desk person had been nice all night and was then as well but her response said all I needed to know about this Motel "Oh ok, Ill refund your card" Not OMG, I am so sorry, no shock no nothing! THEY KNOW they have a problem and are doing NOTHING. This is a INFESTATION not just a roach here or there! THEN to top it all off they are now trying to charge me $50.00 for a pillow they say I took from there room. PLEASE tell me when I leave a hotel infested with roaches, was in the room less than 5 minutes.. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I STEAL THEIR DISGUSTING ROACH INFESTED PILLOWS, My husband wanted to leave ours because he was scared to bring any roaches with us!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY unless you like sleeping with roaches and being charged $50.00 for a pillow you DID NOT TAKE!!!!!! BELIEVE ALL THE REVIEWS!! Wish I had thought to check them before hand!!!! I Spoke to the General Mgr. He said there is nothing he can do about the charge i told him to check his cameras and he will see we didnt take his roach infested pillows. I truly believe they made up a ** charge so they could charge our card for something. Stay FAR away from this nasty infested Days INN. The reviews show MONTHS of infestation so obviously they could care less about resolving the issue.
