I bought a house on the *** of May, and VR was hired by the seller's agent from our house to take care of some repairs before closing. One of the repairs was to "repair or replace the water damaged board inside the cabinet below the kitchen sink and the trim underneath the cabinet door". VR claims that he did not see any water or water damage underneath the kitchen cabinets, so they just nailed a board on top of the moldy one beneath the kitchen sink and replaced the cabinet trim. They covered up extensive water damage from a leaking copper pipe. He was hired by the seller's realtor and I have proof of them knowing about the damage. I have tried contacting him several times before and also sent him pictures of the damage but he would just ignore all my calls and messages. My kitchen cabinets had to be removed due to all that damage, the mitigation company will also have to remove my drywall due to all the mold. I have not been able to use my kitchen and I have * children to care for. He was also supposed to fix the chimney flashing and I noticed that it has not been fixed correctly. I tried contacting him today about the chimney flashing and then also asked about the water damage and he told me that he was told only to remove the cabinet trim and that he nailed the board under the sink on there because he wanted to. When I kept asking him questions he told me I have to ask the realtor and he hung up the phone. I have screenshots of messages and recordings of our conversation. I think VR should be held accountable for covering up the extensive damage. Thank you
