On Friday March **** I went to Furniture Queen located at to look at and possibly buy a living room furniture set. Their were two employees there and we had a great meeting, we spoke about church and the Bible. Even though they only had the picture of the furniture I was interested in the interaction was very positive. I apply for credit which was approved but the employee took $167:98 from my bank card stating that it’s the amount needed to make up the total price of the living room set. After she called the warehouse to setup delivery she told me that her supervisor told her he sold the item that I purchased and he suggested she give me different item which was more expensive than the one I purchased at the same price. My receipt shows the items is not more expensive but that they are around the same price. Today March **** I received a call from delivery person asking me confirm my address and payment. I asked him what payment, he said $151 for the delivery of the living room set. I told him I was not aware of that. It’s not on my documents. I then went to Furniture Queen to find out more information about the fee. The young lady got very angry and aggressive with me from the moment I started explaining what was going on, even to the point of taking my picture which she denied, I told her I heard the shutters but she still denied it. She told me all sales are final and that the items belong to me. I asked her how can I own them if I haven’t received the items, she said all sales are final. I asked for her supervisor’s information but she said there’s no one above her and refused to give me any help. I stood there for half hour with no one saying anything so I left because I did not want them to call police on me and say I was causing problems. She was so angry that I even asked her what happened between Friday and today because we had a positive interaction. I am out of $167:98 and charged $431 to be paid on April 3rd. How is this even legal??
