Had transmission replaced had to bring back in and leave it for a week after replacement was done because it was having a stutter in transmission still. They kept car for a week and said it drives like a dream. I go to my father in laws house and notice a leak on his new drive way so take it back again and they keep it for 3 weeks final admit they cannot get it to stop leaking so the replace torque converter. Mind you they have it for three weeks and I leave with it and here noises over weekend driving it and think it may be a shock. Scheduled appointment with ********* Buick GMC dealer and they have to run a diagnostic test for $378 dollars. Again at this point I was thinking it was shock or strut but after they run the test they tell me bolts were left loose, not sure of all parts but power steering lines not bolted back on and frame bolts which they tightened and was covered under $378 diagnostic. Greg technician stated that was unsafe and was lucky we caught. I go back to them having it three weeks and I was not rushing them but they send me home with job not done. I take it back in and speak to Benny who said he would call me back but I had to follow up twice before he says owner won’t pay because I should have brought it back to them for repairs. Again all I was asking for was $378 diagnostic test that was all they charged and not the missing bolts they replaced too. They have had my car 4 times and I was told the owner said I should have brought it back and they will not cover test. Again I thought it was something else and wasn’t until dealer did test that we found out they didn’t tighten everything back up. Also, My question is they let me leave with incomplete repair multiple times so why would I trust them. We are just asking for the $378 diagnostic that I gave Benny a copy of to be compensated by Transmission Plus and the only reason I selected them was because of there Website stating they are BBB Credited as I am new to ********* ** area.

We rebuilt Mr. ****** 2016 Chevrolet ******** transmission.  He did in fact bring it back and it took some time and effort, but we did determine that the leak was coming from the torque converter.  It was hard to diagnose because we had replaced the torque converter during the rebuild.  It was new.

Mr. ****** invoice from the ***** *** dealer for was for $920.26.  He had some other items completed on the repair order.  They say that some bolts were missing, I personally have a hard time understanding why they would charge $378 for tightening some bolts.  We were not given a chance to look at it, if so we would have been glad to handle any type of repair that was due to our work.

We called the dealer and they said they do not charge for diagnostics.  We paid Mr. ****** $100 to cover what is a typical diagnostic fee, we charge customers $75.

Transmission rebuilds are difficult to say the least and we do numerous each week.  We hate that we had a remanufactured torque converter that was defective.  We immediately replaced the torque converter and will back our one year warranty on the transmission.
