    Ashley Station Apartment Homes has provided an unsafe living situaton for my partner and I for going on *********. We are young so they moved us into an unfinished apartment that clearly had a preexisting roach infestation, and Ac issues. The AC started leaking about a month after we moved in. The carpet was soaking wet for months due to them not repairing the AC properly multiple times. Roaches come from every crack and crevice in the home because pest control has never entered the unit, and the baseboards and carpets are not sealed. An apartment above us flooded, and that has left our apartment in the current state: Moldy vents, water-compromised wood, and sealing, a growing bug problem with flies. Our ceiling is stained with water-damage, and our main bathroom has mold in the shower tiles, and unfinished caulking, The toilet is not sealed at the bottom. Our guest bathroom and laundry grow mold as well. The manager finally answered the phone and came down to access the damage, she was shocked and only said that they would handle everything. We have received no updates or new on those damages being handled, and have been coping with this for months. We want to leave the lease with zero extra fees or payments. We also were never given the 200 dollars off our rent when we first moved in, they manager Rae claimed we would get it off due to the kitchen not having cabinets

    Staff is unprofessional and often rude. Office hours are very narrow, and I have never recieved a call back after leaving a voicemail if I can’t get someone on the phone immediately. Around March 2023 staff sent out letters mentioning that “we are still remodeling the laundry rooms and they are close to being re-opened for your daily usage. We’ll keep you up to date on the progress.” This was never followed up as of my writing this in January 2024. Ashley Station Apartments website (no longer up) also advertised a pool which has never been open to the public during the entirety of my stay here. Around May 2023 staff sent several letters to myself and likely other residents regarding a REAC inspection (REAC inspection concerns the property OWNER) threatening that residents in violation may have their lease terminated - largely due to an outdoor trash problem occurring due to overflowing dumpsters (i.e. lack of scheduled pickups). Inspection in question was never conducted in my unit. Maintenance staff does not respond to requests with any regularity. No uniforms or professionalism. Old management did regular spraying for pest control every few months on a schedule. This was not continued by CAHEC MANAGEMENT INC.’s staff. Submitted request regarding roach problem in November 2023 was never followed up. My unit’s fixtures are old and ugly. Wobbly ceiling fans, poor lighting. Door and frame looks like it may have been kicked in a few times. Wall-to-wall carpets in every room except bathroom and kitchen (do NOT move here if you do not have a good vacuum)! Bathtub is ‘sunken’ leading to a small pool of stagnant water that never drains on its own (reported this to property manager on 1st week living here, never followed up). Caulking is shoddy (probably contributing to bug problem).
