    First off they're not listed with BBB. Subject 570-38-7 #3 Maximum tariff rates by weight, they picked up a motorcycle that weighed 542 pounds. With the keys in the ignition.According to the ************************************ the max charge not to exceed for vehicles ****** lbs or less is $228. They charged $450. and according to GDPS the daily rate not to exceed is $33. they charged $35. They did not notify me the owner, luckily we have a friend who works for the sheriff's **** and he told us who towed the vehicle on 8/19/25. I called the company who quoted $450 and $35. a day. When we picked the vehicle up on 8/21/25 they wanted to charge an extra $100 for admin fee, if it wasn't picked up after the 3rd day. It was picked up on the 3rd day, in the after noon during buisness hours. I let the office staff know that it was the 3rd day not after and I would be contacting the state to complain when they started raising their voices and wanting to offer $100 dollars back. I will also be checking if the towing company has a Nonconsensual Towing Permit. I would never do business with this company. I wanted to give 0 stars but it wouldn't let me proceed.

    Matthew Smith Towing impressed me so much that I have their number in my phone if I ever need them again!My daughter hit a curb and blew out 3 tires. Matthew Smith answered my call on the first ring, and someone was dispatched immediately. The price quoted was very fair. Their driver, ******, got to my daughter within 15 min. or so. My daughter said he was professional and worked quickly to load the car and drop it off at a tire place.I called Matthew Smith Towing the next week to ask for an invoice to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. It was mailed to my house within days.I am grateful for how quick, efficient and professional this towing company is.
