I am a single mother with 5 kids. The apartment complex approved me the same day I applied. They told me that they only had a one bedroom available and would get me into a three bedroom that very next month. Due to housing regulations they were not allowed to house 6 people in a one bedroom apartment also its a safety violation. When ***** came I asked them about the 3 bedroom they informed me that I would just have to pay I believe $400 to transfer to another unit which was fine but then they tell me that they do not have any 3 bedrooms available and that they rented them all out. I was upset because they knew I had 5 children and we were cramped into a one bedroom apartment! So I gave them a notice to vacate they signed rental verification for my new apartment complex and I moved that next month and returned the keys. They told me I would just have to pay first and last months rent and I would be fine. Instead they report that I owe them almost $7000! Which is incorrect when I moved in (I have videos and photos) my apartment wasnt even cleaned out properly! There was dog food in the living room big nasty stain in the washer and dryer hook up. My toilet was leaking the entire time I lived there which made my utility bill hundreds of dollars (just the water alone was like $400) and they never fixed it! I plan on suing this company and getting that removed off of my credit report asap! They want to take extra money from me to fix an apartment that was already messed up when I moved in! I will be filing with the court system
