************************ hired Painter Ramon S. of Handyman Services in August 2021 after his wife Adilene (Adi S.) reached out to us on ******** when I made a ******** post asking for a Painter to Paint our ****** House located at **************************************. Ramon sent my husband ************* a text with price of $8000 Labor & all was agreed for entire home to be painted/repaired including baseboards, trim & cabinets, and garage. Ramon sent workers to work on our home & I wrote check #1139 $4,500 on ******* & check #1140 $4,000 on ****** but on Nov **** Ramon sent message not coming back. My husband called Ramon & told him if he does not plan on coming back we needed some money back. Ramon told ***** he does not have any money to give us and he would not finish job. Ramon also text me after I reminded Painter I have paid $8,500 & job not finished and painter responded he knew job not finish. I am concerned that others will use Ramon S. because his wife Adilene is great at marketing their business online. I attempted to make a police report and***** County officer called Ramon who lied & told officer he was finished with paint job. I wish I knew this painter/company could not be trusted and I would have never hired or paid them $8,500. I feel others should be warned to beware. I feel for it when I noticed me & wife shared 112 mutual ******** friends. Yesterday I private messaged each one and none actually knew these people & only accepted because they saw mutual friends. It made me think this was a good painter/good people. Wrong took my money/ran. Refused to finish. Lied to officer that work done. I have more than 30 photos of unfinished paint work, drip marks, horrible cut ins, unfinished baseboards, all my closets are only primed with streak marks, my blinds are only primed with streak marks, my cabinets are only primes with streak marks, there are parts of wall/doors that have only been sanded, ceiling not done. : (
