So these people were extremely rude to me just now. I was explaining to this woman who works here, Linda, that I got a hat there recently over the Apple Festival timeframe weekend that I really loved. It was one of the more unique looking hats with a multi color fish design that says "toccoa river" on it. I can't get anything like that in Atlanta obviously. I have a Lab puppy that is 7 months old and will destroy anything at all left out like that. I left it on my kitchen island and he was able to get up and grab it I just tore the whole bill to shreds almost all the way to the end. I let her know this and I told her since that hat was something I wanted to replace since it was a special trip I had taken with my two sons. I started to ask if I can have a little discount or something like that to replace it so I can get another one or if they be willing to do anything for me like that. Before I was even halfway done with my sentence she very rudely and abruptly said "no" and nothing else at all. I immediately didn't want to talk to her anymore but the simple fact was I wasn't done with my request when she cut me off. I was going to ask if they could give me the discount because I was gonna see if they could send it to me and I was sure I would have to pay some type of shipping. I thought the discount would offset a little bit of that cost and since I had just bought the hat a month ago was hoping they'd work with me somehow. It comes down to this though... I loved that hat for the few days I had it and if they would've just been even willing to send it to me I would've bought it full price. But she didn't find out any of this because of her rudeness. They were even actually rude to me when I was in their main location in downtown Blue Ridge so I ended up having to get it from their other store in Ellijay down the road a little bit (very nice!). My youngest son was acting up a little bit when we were physically there in the store and one of the ladies, who I'm assuming is Lynda because the voice sounded familiar, acted like she had never seen a child before. The ability to understand or assess customers needs and the desire to work with people in any way I don't think exists in this store. If you can, totally bypass this store and shop at *********************** in Atlanta. If you're not from Atlanta they have their own website and you can order from them directly. They're a great store and they are so much nicer and better than Blue Ridge Mountain outfitters. Thanks Linda 👍🏼.
