      We have rented an apartment on ***** *** For the first 4 weeks of living here we did not have hot water. We could only take at most a 2 minute shower before the water would turn cold. We made several maintenance reports , and they said they looked at it and tried to fix it. They were rude when we continued to file maintenance requests, saying they were aware of the problem but had other problems they were working on. They finally seemed to fix the hot water issue after 4 weeks, then the knobs broke on the shower and water would only come out of the faucet, not the shower head. The tub paint was peeling off so you couldn’t take a bath. This problem has been reported 4 times. The knobs are also falling off and there is a constant drip in the tub. I have called the office 14 times with NO response from them.

      We moved our daughter here and a few days after we moved her in and got her all set up, they have one of those washing machine/dryer combo. Before she could even put in the first load, that thing started leaking like Niagara Falls. Water was coming out so fast, we couldn’t keep up. The whole kitchen floor flooded. We had to try to keep up with it by pooling water from trash cans and pouring it into the sink. It was a nightmare. My daughter put in a work order through her portal as they instructed, and she received an email that indicated that they received the work order for the washing machine/dryer. This was handled on 11/30/2022. They never came out and fixed it. The door to the building has a keypad for added security, it wasn't working. I call them every day for a month before the Maintenance Supervisor finally called me back, just to let me know they would be working on replacing it. Well after all my calls, we found out how long……exactly 5-10 minutes. Now I ask you, why did I have to call numerous times for a month for them to finally fix it and it took 5-10 mins. Lease was up Nov 17, 2023. I sent them a letter July 2023 advise of non-renewal of lease. Letter was confirmed rec'd Aug 4, 2023. Oct 29, checked portal to ensure pro-rated amt for Nov-- was correct. went to pay it- Nov 3rd, it was double the amt from the other day. had to wait til Nov 6th to call the office. Reason is that even though the website states the office is open on Saturdays, they are not open. The manager had an attitude right off the bat. I only asked about the fees listed on the invoice so that I can get them corrected so that I can pay the Invoice for Nov. She was short and rude to me. This was unprofessional. She agreed to the amt from Oct 29. she advised me to pay it through money order, cashier’s check, or *********. She even sent me the instructions for ********* with the receive code via email. Didn't work as their system still showed the wrong amt. Now acct has a bal, why?
