I scheduled a tattoo appointment with Thunderbolt Tattoo in late March for May 1st. At that time, I paid the $50 deposit for the appointment/sketches. I realized shortly after the appointment was made I chose the wrong date, so I called to reschedule it for May 5th within an hour of the first call, and they accepted that revision. When I was arriving to the appointment, I realized I would be about 15 minutes late, so I called them ahead of time to let them know, and I was already on my way there. They stated that they would not see me (with no reason given) and that I would have to wait for them to call me to reschedule. It's been a month, I've still not been rescheduled, so I called the shop to request a refund of my deposit. They denied it stating their policy is no refunds. While I understand that for someone who doesn't show up, or changes their mind, I did not. They cancelled the appointment without providing the promised service I was requesting through that deposit. There is no policy on their website about being late (and I have never heard of a tattoo ********* doing anything like this for anyone who is late).
