1 starTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with very little remorse from Delta. Our flight on the way to *********** was delayed 10 hours. Our flight on the way back to ********* was delayed overnight. Very few explanations given and insulting "compensation" -- they gave us $15 per person in meal vouchers + some SkyMiles. I thought Delta was better than this. 3 starswe had the worse expererience with Dela ********************** May 14th and May 21st we paid extra for seating and did not get it, got charged twice for baggage, had to wait 3-4 hrs both flights because of cancelations ,and no one contacted us, we had to pay a taxi to take us to another airport to get another flight home and still had a 3hr layover.we felt like we should be reimburse for all the trouble but everyway i tried to contact them i could get nowhere.Review fromJim B

1 starMe and wife got a email (no text or call) mentioning our return flight was cancelled and that was just shy of 24 hours notice. The app suggested rebook or refund and we needed to go home so we rebooked for another flight (with much difficulty and no explanation for the cancellation) the same day but a bit different route with worse seats. Fast forward, we show up early and check through TSA and sit down waiting to board and the wife notices now at the gate that the flight shows cancelled on the app. No email, no text, no call and even the display board with flights at the airport is not showing cancelled. We try to talk to front desk Delta and there's no help at all with rescheduling, the app doesn't even allow rescheduling now and the phone service is mentioning return flight will now only be available 2 days later. Somehow in a busy area during memorial day weekend we were going to be forced to find a hotel and force to pay and stay out of pocket ourselves somewhere because of deltas poor planning. The wife found tickets for American airlines back home for the same day with really bad times but at least it was something. We then confirmed with the front desk and the lady was able to readjust to a better flight no extra charge easily. I've always thought Delta was good and top tier but this experience was so s***** and so disgusting that it's as bad as sprint imo. I will be avoiding Delta because the lack of clarity or help was just beyond disgustingReview fromJessica W

1 starI have honestly had the worst experience with Delta and this has honestly probably been the worst experience with any airline I have ever dealt with. On 5/5 I had a flight scheduled for 6AM out of PWM to BNA. I arrive to the airport at 5AM and they tell me I cant get on my flight that was changed to 5:30AM without my ************* was never notified that my flight time was changed. I never received an email or an update through my app that my flight was changed. I then get my flight changed to 12PM. However, I paid for comfort plus because I had my cat with ****** was told that on this new flight I could not ride comfort plus and would have to file a complaint to get a refund. Then I finally arrive in ********* and my luggage is on a completely different flight than me and I have to go back to the airport to pick it up later on. That day I talked to representative and she gave me a case number and told me to call back once I completed my travel and returned to *****. I have been trying to get in contact with a representative for the past week and have had no luck. I have called almost every day and have been placed on long hold times. If I reach someone I am just placed on hold again and told to wait until I can get to the right department. I am extremely frustrated because I like Delta, but this entire experience has left me feeling hopeless about the situation. 1 starWorst experience w/ Delta Airlines last wknd.I was on Military orders, military travel booked my flight, everything was confirmed.The day before travel,it was canceled by Delta stating operational issues.I had the option to rebook online w/no charge or penalty,so I did.I now had 2 layovers vs. the nonstop flight I previously had,but I needed to get to my destination by Mon morning.I checked-in,received full itinerary & seat assignments,arrived at the airport approx. 1.5 hrs before since I wasn't checking a bag due to the layovers.Well I couldn't retrieve my boarding pass though I was checked in. When I got to the counter the 1st rep was so unprofessional & lacked customer service. He printed me a boarding pass for the 3rd plane I was expected to get on to arrive at my final destination. I'm like I need something leaving ***, where we currently are. He said he couldn't print it. He made a call to someone, while I waited. now 20 mins has passed then he comes back, slides me a Delta paper and says call them for further assistance. Mentioned the travel place didn't authorize my travel and walked away. I did get a little loud and called him out because I'm within an hr of boarding and confused as to why I can't get a pass when I'm clearly booked on the flight. I ended up getting another rep to explain what was going on. I showed her my info,she said she was already on hold w/authorization line or something,but that it wouldn't be enough time to make the flight. They kept saying it was the military travel's fault, however I had a rep on the phone with military travel now and he was explaining that once Delta rebooked my flight, they no longer have access to make changes.Makes sense as Delta is who canceled & rebooked w/no errors (at least not from my end).There ended up being no available flights within the next 24hrs.I missed the conference,had to report this to my unit,all because Delta who's contracted w/the military couldn't get their systems right. 1 starDelta canceled my flight without any notification. I happened to log into the app to see it had been cancelled and I didnt receive any notification or email from them, only that I had to reschedule. Of course, nothing else was available for that day, so I canceled my flight all together. I tried to get a hold of an agent, only to be told by the operator that I would have to wait over three hours to speak to an agent. It is unfair when people take time out of their busy schedules to plan a trip only to have it ruined at the last possible minute. They could at least offer an apology or try to make an effort to rebook our flight but they did none of that. I echo so many other peoples frustrations.Review fromShawn L

1 starDelta Airlines has changed for the worst I gave a trip to **** ***** May 5,2022 I had a total of 40 guest the service was horrible from the curbside check in caused 4 persons to miss the flight altogether had to pay an additional ******* to catch up with the cruise 4 days later in ****** premium select, delta comfort seats were horrible the same as delta economy no difference every time I try and speak with someone at delta they listen and hang up or transfer you to someone else no resolve. On the return 5/14/2022 they canceled several of my guess reservations and no explanation or excuses I going to continue complaining until Im heard and something is doneReview fromPatricia H

1 starDelta cheated me. I bought and paid for a trip, paying a higher rate to take a mid morning flight. They changed my itinerary to reflect a 7:00 in the morning flight which requires me to book a hotel the night before to make the early morning flight. Delta will not credit my account for the difference
