    2021 and 2022 Tax Filing The firm worked on my taxes using documents I provided. However a review of the taxes were not completed prior to filing. I asked on several occasions but because of deadlines I paid for one year $550 and another year $600 approximately. She ensured that if I was ever audited she would handle and that was included in the fees. She has now gone ghost and I have no means to reach out to her. No responses to emails or phone calls. Was told that no one has ever occupied the office listed as her address.

    This complaints comes to me as a surprise.  I was recently made aware of the complaint and ******** post a few days ago.  I wasn't personally aware that Mrs. ***** was not happy with her services until receiving this information.  I took a family medical leave of absence until further notice last year and all of my previous clients was aware that I have been taking care of my mother in another state including Mrs. ************ I have have not communicated with any clients due to my priorities of taking care of my aling mother.  I left the business with a colleague who to my understanding has not had any issues.  According to Mrs. ****** her taxes were prepared with documentation she provided in which that is the information that was used to prepare her returns.  If there was an audit the only information needed would be to submit receipts for the business expenses.  I no longer own or operate PHP Accounting. I resolved the *** Articles last year as well.  However, PHP Accounting was a legitimate business and I do not apprecaite being called a scam or making statements that my business never existed.  The business has filed taxes with the iRS, was registered with the GA *** and received mail at the exact address that Mrs. ***** is claiming no one ever occupied.  I have a corporate lease that can verifiy that PHP Accounting was a tenant at ********************************************* until 2021. After the pandemic of 2020, most of the staff worked from home, once the lease was up in 2022, we did not renew the lease and all of the staff continued to work from home.I have never frauded any client and would never intentionally misrepresent myself or my business in anyway.  Unfortunately, I have been completely out of the loop since my mother's cancer returned last year and I have been living in ******* taking care of her.  I have no contact with any previous clients and have not heard any complaints from any previous clients and I do not have access to the business phone or email system anymore.  The new owner have their own policies, a new address and phone number.  I did not ghost Mrs. ***** because I don't work there, therefore, I have no way of comminicating.  The new owners informed me of the complaint that was emailed and was going to respond, but I said I would respond since she specifically stated my name and posted her complaint on my personal ******** page as well.  I do not check ******** often and have not been on social media in years because my mother's diagnosis orginated in 2021 and it was a 2 year battle only to return one year later, so I haven't been comminucating with anyone.  I sincerely apologize that I completely had to take a full leave from the business, but the taxes were done correctly, audits do not mean the taxes were done incorrectly.  An audit means they want to verify some of the information that was submitted.  So if the documentation that Mrs. ***** provided was correct then, responding to the audit shouldn't have been a problem.  At the time we serviced Mrs. ***** and all clients, the time was put in to complete the service, we paid for the software that was used to complete and submit the returns and an official email or call was done to discuss or relay the results.  I will reach out to Mrs. ***** personally as well to resolve this issue because this is disappointing to hear and I'm sure with the efforts that Mrs. ***** has put in to address her concern that she is disappointed as well.  If I understand her complaint, Mrs. ***** is upset that I wasn't available to assist her with an audit, stated that she called and received no reply and assume that the business didn't or never exist.  Mrs. ***** knows that is not true, she has been on more than one zoom with me and I informed her of my position with taking care of my mother.  All of my clients knew I was working off and on due to my responsiblity with my mom.  Mrs. ***** also know that I had a legittimate business so making false statements that I scammed her is defamation of character and holds no merit what so ever.  I have actual maili that was sent to the previous business address, I have receipts of the software expense paid  and the payroll statements where my staff was paid to complete all atx services during 2021 and 2022 tax years that she is speaking of.  I would like to have this complaint removed and resolved because the statements are an attack on my character more than a dispute of service.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Yes I agree that documents were submitted by me to you. Numerous messages have been left on the cell number that I have listed for you explaining my computer crashed and the majority of my documents were on that computer.  Some documents were sent via email due to technical difficulties with the system that was used to upload documents.  All I needed from *** ***** were copies. Yes I understood that she were back and forth with family however there was no official documentation sent to me stating anything about the business being put in the hands of someone else. That the business had new contact information. This could have been resolved if there was communication. This could have been resolved months ago when messages and emails were sent. None of the emails came bac not returned. No response to voicemails left on her personal cell. Until this complaint there has been no response. The services I paid for in addition to the taxes was verbally said that if I came up for an audit *** ***** would assist if not handle. She was aware of my previous experience with an accountant and provided ease in knowing this service would mean a lot. All Im asking is for all of the documentation I provided by all forms of communication and what she actually used of those documents to prepare my returns. I will remove the complaint only after there has been communication from *** ***** and documents are received due to no other responses to my request have been received until now.

    I paid ************************** $550.00 on 4-18-2023 as she requested. ************************** never completed my 2022 tax return. I contacted ****** via phone email and I contacted her business associates. I got one email from one of her business associate but this is all and my taxes still never completed. I tried to contact this company for months on end. ****** ignored all of my attempts to contact her and she never refunded me after not doing the job she was paid to do.
