    In March 2023 we hired Tim to fix a problem on our winnebago RV. The levelers quit working. He suggested we replace the hydraulic pump to start with That was completed and paid for. It didnt fix the problem. We also paid him to secure the levelers so we could get out on the road. He came to the house 6 times after that until the problem was fixed on August 30 2023. It was a 30 minute job once he figured out he needed to replace a wire. During this 5 month long adventure he told my wife "I'm not charging you for these trips, I need to figure this out". His rate is 150.00 an hour which we agreed to for the pump and tying up levelers. Once levelers worked he sent us an overdue bill for 1800.00. We were shocked. We had never received any invoices or any warning he was billing us at 150.00 an hour. He admitted he didnt know the system and was on the phone with someone who did each time he showed up to workon our RV.. He stated he wasnt charging us for his fee of 60.00 per visit. Neither me nor my wife ever heard of that before. He claims he spent over 15 hours doing diagnostics. When he finally provided invoices for his trips to our house to work on our RV they indicated dates, arrival times, and hours he spent working on our RV. He claims he told us he didnt know the system up front but he felt like he could fix it. I would have discontinued his services if I had any idea of the fact we were being charged during his learning experiences. 150.00 per hour is fair for his professional trade while he's working. I'm not paying for his learning experiences and bad judgements or for whoever he talked with on the phone. He had us return the control panel twice to the manufacurer to get it back saying there was nothing wrong with it both times. I would like to offer him 750.00 for what he did. He believes we are getting a good deal at 1825.00. Am I missing something?

    This guy has a complaint on the wrong business. First of all, my name is David not Tim. I am the only person that works for my company. Secondly I would never take on a job like that nor collect any money unless what I do fixed their issue. There are several companies that repair rvs very close to my address and this is a case where the customer is filing a complaint about the wrong company. Please have the customer provide a copy of an invoice so you can see that the invoice is not for my company and therefore this complain should be removed from our profile. Thank you.
