Less than satisfactory work. Paid them up front and they did not follow the insurance estimates. Put a few shingles on the roof, no insulation. Came out 3 times for the soffits. Very unsatisfactory job as you can see in the pictures. Even spray painted and got on my brown pool cage. Painters came out whenever they wanted to. Told them to be at my house at 9am and showed up at 1pm. Came out three times to match the ceiling paint. Was supposed to tear out drywall per estimate. Told them to just kilnz and paint, but was i going to be reimbursed for the shortcut? No. On contractor business card, it states ******************* Adjusters". In the ****************, you cannot be both a contractor and a licensed insurance adjuster. Then they put in a supplement for more money ( I don't know what for). Called me up and wanted to collect the second check and they were not near done the first estimate. I didn't even know I was getting a second check. I felt this company was a scam and just wanted the money. Going down to Clerk of Court today to file a lawsuit. Very shady company. ********************* was walking around the neighborhood a few days after the Hurricane telling everybody they would take care of everything. Well, my soffits look horrible. and nothing has been done. Told them to stop work. I did not want them back to my house because of the way they run their business.

    Progressive Remodeling and Roofing Response

    11/21/2023

Hello, and thank you for the time spent reviewing and posting Progressive Remodeling and Roofing's response to a recent negative review and complaint lodged by ****************** There are 2 specific yet separate topics addressed in her complaint and our response.

************contracted with PRRC to replace his roof and was confident in our ability to do so.In most cases, in *******, materials are roof-loaded by all the big roofing supply houses. This is standard operating procedure to help alleviate some of the physical stress and also enhance safety for the men and women in what's by its very nature is inherently a difficult and dangerous job to begin with.

It was during the roof-loading process that the weight of the delivery truck and the age of the cement driveway met, causing additional cracks to the already cracked surface. Even though both these factors have nothing to do with PRRC or our ability to do what we do best, when informed of the issue, we immediately remedied the concerns and provided a substantial credit to our customer (more than enough to cover the expenses to repair).

When a home is getting a new roof, your home becomes a construction zone, in which people and materials are moving about at a rapid pace. During our build, a small area of the chimney had some plaster chipped which we took care of, we also had a piece of material that came off the steep roof and punctured the screening on 3 panels. We again immediately took notice, and our project manager went ahead and had a substantial amount of the screens replaced.

We responded swiftly to reconcile the incident that did not involve our crew or company along with the concerns during the build on the roof that resulted in a betterment to the home.

Of note, ****************** was not present during the build as she was out of state. ************who entered into the sales agreement with Progressive Remodeling and Roofing not only thanked us for a quick response, he also let us know that we did a great job and was pleased with how everything was handled.
