My issue is the advertised reservation system for ****** Steakhouse in *****, *******. I followed the procedures listed on the website to make reservations for late July. The site said it would be closed until almost the last week of May and reopen for reservations after May 26, 2023. I attempted to use the site for reservations on May 28th and 29th to no avail as the site responded that the calendar did not offer reservations that far in advance. I continued to try until Thursday, June 1, 2023, when the site said that there were no available seatings during the time I requested. as a result of the aforementioned, on June 1st I called the restaurant to see if this was an error and if I could make live reservations. I even left a message. As of June2, 2023, and July 12, 2023, I have not received a return call regarding the message left. On June 2, 2023, I called again and spoke to a lethargic sounding ********, who told me that all reservations are filled until August. This is ridiculous customer service as the venue is not following its own procedures. I would like reservations for two on the evening of my anniversary, July 29, 2023, anytime between the hours of 6:30-7:30 PM. As a senior, and due to the distance, we are from the restaurant, we are unable to drive late in the evening.
