On May 10th, 2024, we signed a contract with Summit Fire and Security in ******, ******* for a fire alarm system installation on our property with fire alarm and security manager - **** ******. We recieved confirmation of receipt on the same day. On June 24th, we sent **** an email to inquire about what the rest of the installation would be completed. On July 1st, we sent another email inquiring about a "no show" when contractors did not show up to work. **** responded by letting us know he was unaware that we were told that and that he was attempting to complete installation by end of July. On July 8th, we sent an email thanking **** for the work that was completed and asked for recommendations for exit sign and fire extinguisher installations - no response. On July 30, we contacted the fire ********** office for information about the progress of the fire alarm installation. We were told at that point that there was no permit on file for our property and that **** had completed the work without a permit. We followed up with **** via email requesting more information. He responded by writing back "call me". In our phone conversation, he admitted to not having the permit submitted yet with "a lot of other jobs" going on at the same time. We were told to only contact him from then on and not contact the fire ********** office with questions. On August 19th after not being able to connect with **** by phone, we sent another email advising him that everything was ready for inspection once he submitted the low voltage application - no response. On September 13, we sent another email to **** after trying to reach him by phone, asking for confirmation of an inspection date - no response, no call backs. We called summit fire office several times and left messages requesting updates with no response. On September 27th, 2024, we called **** again and we were told that he would not be scheduling a final inspection until full payment was recieved, not specified on the contract
