    I contracted Sunny Bay Mobile Tint to apply ceramic tint to my 2008 *** M3 on 6/26/2023. The owner, *******, applied a detailer to the inside door handles that left a thick residue and obscured scuffs on the passenger side door handle that were not present before their arrival. The following day 6/27/2023, I wiped off the residue and uncovered the damage. I immediately reached out to *******, who called me and verbally assaulted me, accusing me of demanding he come right now and fix it. I did no such thing. The car was being dropped off at the mechanic and I advised that I did not know when Id get it back so I need some kind of paperwork from him to follow up on when I get the car back, ensuring it will be taken care of. He then verbally told me hes done with me and hung up. He refused to give me a receipt, but my tint supposedly came with a warranty, which I have no ************************* will ever honor. The entire experience was extremely unprofessional. Both ******* and ****** smoked cigarettes in my garage, I was not given any kind of receipt, and now Ive been verbally assaulted for bringing up my issues with the owner. The price difference between the tint with and without a warranty was significant, and I would like that portion refunded to me.

    Customer contacted us accusing of damage to vehicle. ******** stated she had a video of before the tint with no damage. We have requested the video with time stamp and date, but customer has not complied. When vehicle was finished, we walked around the vehicle to check the quality of workmanship. Customer inspected inside and out of vehicle and we were given a thumbs up with praise for a great job. Customer did reach out and asked for us to come take a look at the damage and the ************* given to customer was not good enough so customer was screaming and yelling on the phone.

    I am rejecting this response because: the business owner is blantantly lying. As previously stated and documented in the screenshots, ******* conviently and without my consent put a thick layer of detailer over my door panels and I did not see the damage until I wiped it off. He never requested the video, which I posted it to ****** anyways, and the last communication was from me, as indicated in the provided logs. I was certainly not "yelling and screaming". I requested some kind of proof that he would actually come out when I received the car back since I did not have a receipt or warranty, and he proceeded to say he was "done with me" and hung up. My boyfriend was standing right next to me the entire time - I have no idea why ******* is insisting that I was yelling and screaming, and is ignoring the actual issue here. He still has not acknowledged that he did not post my car on his ********* as he stated would serve as proof of my warranty, or provide any written receipt or warranty. I paid $600 for high quality tint that came with a warranty, and I have no faith, whatsoever, that ******* will honor it.

    The video will not post as an attachment - the screen just sits there when I try to press proceed. I tried to add it to my original complaint and that's why I only uploaded the screenshot. I can share the iCloud link, but my picture and email are visible,and I don't want that shared. Please let me know if there is an alternative. My BBB complaint is the fact that ******* is blatantly withholding my warranty and I have no faith it will be honored at any time. Regardless of the damage, he immediately became defensive when asked for some kind of paperwork proving I had a warranty or that he would look at the damage when I got the car back. I am not seeking any relief for the damage, and I don't want him near me or my car again. Had he provided some written proof that we talked about the damage, and he agreed to come look at it, this would not be an issue. But he refused and has not posted my car on FB, which he said would serve as my warranty, or provided me with any receipt or other proof.

    Attached is the video. I took the video for a quote on some ceramic coating for the interior, so it's mainly of the dashboard. 
    The leather is old and fairly discolored, especially where people put their arm to push the door open, but those scratches weren't there. They are deep enough to catch when I run my nail across them. 
    I also attached the video of the damage once I wiped off the chemical residue and the screenshot of the video from my phone, which looks like it maintained better quality.

    We will honor her warranty and issue a receipt, however we will not be issuing any credit for any damage that she said we caused. We run a very honest company and always have rectified any issues for all of our customers, even the difficult ones.

    We will need full information for ****** because we do not keep any information other than receipts and since she did not want one at the time of sale, we do not have her information. I can mail her out a receipt once I have her information. Thank you for your time.

    I am rejecting this response because: as already outlined numerous times through this correspondence, I am not requesting compensation for the damage, nor did I "not want" a receipt. I have provided the screenshots that clearly show ******* refused to issue me a receipt, claiming cash customers did not get receipts,which is a blatant lie, and an attempt to withhold my proof of purchase. Do not try to claim I refused a receipt. I am requesting the difference in the price of the tint with and without a warranty. I paid $600 for a premium tint with a warranty, and I have no faith whatsoever that any warranty will be honored, nor do I want anyone affiliated with Sunny Bay near me or my vehicle. Your company has proved dishonest, even going as far as trying to claim I refused a receipt,despite screenshots, to try and twist the situation. Your word means virtually nothing and at this point, I have tint with no warranty so the difference in price needs to be refunded to me.

    We are sorry that the customer feels this way, however we have done everything we could possibly do to address this situation. We are standing behind our warranty and we will not be refunding any monies. We have requested proof of the door not being damaged with a ************* stamp before and after the work was performed and instead a video was uploaded with no date or time stamp. At this time, we are standing behind our decision and work.
