04/09/2024 the tow company was asked to wait so I could call the car lender in which the driver agreed and waited over an hour. The company insisted they could not drop the car as it has to go to the lot. However the company informed the company to in fact drop the car and he even spoke to them on a recorded line and was repeatedly told to release the car and refused to then informed I could get the release paper from my car company and pick my car up from the lot that same day but you can not get ahold of the business. He called his boss who was informed to drop the car and the paperwork was immediately sent to the party millieum and the company was told in their system where to find it. Then I am charged the repossessed fee after being told not to tow the car and to drop it. I truly believe he refused to drop the car as the company got some money out of this tow. My lender stated they dont know why he didnt release it and the system shows he was told to release the car multiple times and the third party was contacted millienium is the name to release the car the driver proceeded to take off after an hour and the company has not answered the call for pick up. Also it has been noted they have a contract violation and internal investigation started with credit acceptance due to the fact the driver ignored the car lenders request to drop the car with the paperwork already processed. I then had to pay an additional 304$ of a repossessed fee because the company driver refused to drop the car. I feel I am owed the return of the fee due to the company agreeing to wait then being told that they could drop the car and refused and then being unreachable as their company informed I could pickup same day

First of all we are not a tow company, we are a respossession company.  At the time of repossession, she called and made a payment and if everything would have went as per normal, the vehicle would have been dropped.  Credit Acceptance would have paid us the repo fee, regardless if we dropped the vehicle or not.  She would have still paid Credit Acceptance the repo fee.  We are contracted with Credit Acceptance that if the debtor makes payment while repo agent is on site, we can drop the vehicle.  However, what took matters in another directly, was her boyfriend/husband.   Before she stated to make the payment, he jumped in the vehicle, started the vehicle and was trying to drive it off the hook (boom) of the repo truck, causing damage not only to her car but our truck as well.  Police were called to the site to remove him from the car.  This was no longer considered a normal repossession as the situation was escalated and to evaluate any damages, the vehicle was taken to our secured lot. The debtor contacted us on 4/10/2024 to make an appointment to pick up her vehicle and as per our normal procedure she was given a next day appointment and picked up her car on 4/11/2024.  We will not refund.  She will need to contact Credit Acceptance for that.

I am rejecting this response because: the police did not arrest ANYBODY. Credit acceptance told them drop the car and had they had dropped the car I would not have had to pay an additional $350 dollars. There was no damage to the car or tow truck because I would of been informed at pickup. I can reach out to credit acceptance and millennium who have documentation or reaching out to the company. I also was told if the car was dropped I would not of received another $650 repossion fee attached to my car loan. And the company just admired after the payment was made they would of dropped the car but refused because of another party which is ethically WRONG. The company refused as a result of me receiving the fees and credit acceptance didnt even understand why they did not drop the car after waiting over an hour. The car company even has an internal investigation in which I can ask for as they said the company should of dropped the car. Its unfair I have to inquire fees because of two other parties trying to prove a point. I only requested one fee be returned I was charged two $350 and $650 could of been avoided had they listened to credit acceptance to begin with. So first of all when the payment was made the vehicle should of been dropped and second of all the driver in front of the police stated I could get it same day from the lot since everything was taken care of and that didnt even happen. And two escalated emails had to be sent for them to even give me a pick up day.  This leads me to know he knew to drop the car  but wanted the fee of picking the car up.

      Sincerely,

In January ****, this company was paid to repossess my vehicle. When I went to make an appointment on Thursday to get my car they informed me that I wouldn't be able to pick up my vehicle and would have to wait til Monday. This is blatant robbery of trying to get more fees out of me and it's not right. If the vehicle is paid and released I should be able to get it in a reasonable time

My truck was repossessed on February 15th 2023 and I went to get my belongings on March 3rd 2023. They stole all my shoes. My boyfriend resells shoes as a business and his shoes were in my truck. Over $3,000.00 worth of jordan shoes that were never worn and were in the original boxes. All of them were missing. The office manager said their building got broken into and for me to go to Orlando police department and file a complaint. I know this was an inside job. Basically if you have something of value in your car when it gets repossessed they will steal it and say a their building gor broken into. They gave me a bogus email to complain too. I wish the capital one financial loaner knew how corrupted they are. I wish had some way to contact the owner to I form him how his employees are ruining his business. I'm going through hard times and my truck got repossessed and on top of that this company stole my boyfriends collectable shoes. What a shame. I would take anything instead of just get robbed. I wish someone does something to make them accountable. Also when I was there picking up my stuff another guy went to get his belongings and a lot of his stuff was missing also. Smh. Super shady company. If what they said were true Orlando police would have contacted me. They never contacted and I didn't know I was robbed until I showed up to collect my belongings. And when they first repo the vehicle per protocol they have to take pics of the vehicle to show they collected the vehicle and in those pictures you can clearly see my shoes. Smh. I had 15 pairs of shoes in boxs and more not In boxes
