Received his recommendation from a FB commenter after Hurricane Ian. **** seemed professional at our first meeting claiming he could do the repairs. Our second meeting he presented me with a invoice of labor cost for the job requesting down payment of half. These were stressful times with builders claiming to assist but not showing up. So I did give him a down payment, which I'm told a good business, wouldn't ask for that. First couple of weeks, he would come for just few hours and work and then there were times he said he was coming but did not nor inform me that he wasn't. I was contacting him to see if he was coming or not. I ALWAYS paid for the materials from Loews when he picked them up. He didn't have the funds to prepay. About 3/4 of the construction, he ask that I pay him the remainder of the labor before he was finished because he couldn't pay his rent and needed gas money. **** became defensive whenever I would questions what he was doing. He put up siding on my home which looked horrific because he use old and new. I complained and he had to redo it. Parts blew off first good wind! He claims to been in the business for 30yrs so I trusted his judgement. Unfortunately, the shed he build for me, he used the thinnest aluminum roof, awful caulking and it isn't flushed up against my lania for the gutters because the roof is too short. The drain spouts are not fully connected and a good rain they come loose. He claimed he would come and review my complaints but it's been 2 months, refuses to respond to my calls, texts or letter. He is unprofessional and does not stand by his work. I had another roofer come and look at the job and he said it is the worst that he has seen. He used 2x4, which are now useless to the new repair. I am now having to pay $4600 to get the roof up to code. This man is not reliable, responsible or a man of integrity. I know I won't get any money back from him however, I am sorry that I feel for his lies of deception and confidence!
