I applied for the TD program as I am a disabled veteran. I applied on the 15th of November 2023. I then waited and waited, and I got no response. I finally was able to get a hold of someone on the phone, and they said I was declined, nothing else, no other reasons, and i could not speak with anyone they said. As I could not see any possible way I could not be approved for the program I tried a lady that helped me with my passes on Flamingo the new app to pay for fare. Her name is ***** and she is always awesome. Always gets back to me, and is reasonable, and intelligent. Great employee, probably in desperate need of a promotion. Anyway, I reached out to her and asked her if she could get an email to someone from that ***** Well in normal ***** fashion, someone emailed back in a few days. That someone was ***************************** **************** coordinator. She apologized that no one got back to me. She then preceded to tell me that I had been declined because I am a veteran and they made bus fares free for veterans. All we have to do is take our ID to the bus depot and get a pass. Well therein lies the problem...I do not have an ID nor can I get one, which I spent the last month or so, emailing time after time after time after time. I even looked up the email format there and emailed her directly. I cannot get a hold of her and here I am trying to get to doctor ****** and school things (which I am a student as well and they declined that discount from me because I go to school in Manatee not Pinellas. So you already know they will decline me. They act like it comes out of their check. I am so tired of being ignored when I am doing what i am supposed to do and putting up with the red tape the way it is. Then when I snap I am going to be wrong right?
