After visiting Nautica mid August to see apartments and being shown model we completed application and paid fees labeled application and second fee for administration with the agreement the corner apartment with side windows that was pointed to during visit would be available for September 7 move in. On Labor Day Sept 6, Nautica sent msg via e mail saying Apartment would not be available on 7th. Had to call and e mail several times for answer on when apartment would be available and finally told it would be Tuesday September 14. When arrived at office 3:45 pm 14th was told it was not available and that we had messed up the date. Called on 15th and told the apartment should be available after 5pm which we had no confidence was true so asked for refund and clearly stated to Nautica we had lost all faith in their words, lack of service, and lack of product. Made another visit to their office Sept 17th requesting refund and reminding them they failed to produce the apartment that was clearly promised to start application. They refused to refund any of collected fees and continued to state that we mixed up the date and were never told a corner apartment. Reported credit card charges as fraud after all these direct efforts failed to produce any efforts from Nautica to resolve issues especially as trust completely removed with all their lies. Cancelled card so no more charges could be put through. They then sent the complete credit applications and copy of drivers license to credit card company resolution team. Their own form for credit card payment of fees states they will dispose of credit card info safely immediately after charges are processed (which obviously is another lie since they sent copies months later to try to claim they supplied product promised at application and fee collection).
