    dropped off scissors on Thursday 8-7-25 picked up scissors on Saturday 8-9-25 receipts states 8-8-25 husband picked up scissors due to I was working. ****** (the owner I guess) told me husband that if I was having trouble with the one pair of scissors its because they are left handed the other 2 pairs were right handed. I tried calling the # ************ had to leave message. I got a return call on Monday the 11th of August 2025.****** left a message. I have that message.I have had these scissors for at least 50 years. I think if they were left handed I would have known by now. I didn't tell ****** that I was having problems with the scissors. I don't know why she is doing this. I have never met her before. 1st time doing business with her and the last time doing business with her !!

    Customer came into my hair salon while I was with a clients hair around 3pm on Thursday the August 7th to drop off her scissors.  After evaluating them, there was pinking scissors and fabric scissors that were right-handed and another pair of fabric scissors that were left-handed.  As my usual procedure I repeated back to the customer the items being dropped off to me.  I let her know I wouldnt be able to work on them till Friday afternoon August 8th, with a pick-up Saturday morning between 9-12pm.  After completed her scissors I texted her on Friday August 8 at 1:41pm with total and reminder of pick-up time frame.  On Saturday August 9 at 10:53am she still hadnt come into pick up her scissors, so I texted her again reminding her that 12pm was the latest I would be available.  Her husband came in not long after that to pick up everything while I was finishing up with my hair client.  As usual practice I went over what I had done and let him know that the scissors were dull and everything works great now.  I also said that any problems she might have been having might have been because of the left-handed scissors.  I just had a feeling she didnt realize she had left-handed scissors and wanted to make sure they knew that scissors dont cut right if using the wrong hand.   On Sunday morning August 10th at 8:11am, the client called and left a message stating that I had given her a left-handed fabric scissor and wanted her right-handed scissors.  Due to being closed on Sundays I didnt return her call till regular hours on Monday August 11th at 9:09am.  The customer never picked up so I left a message, stating that I remember talking with her about her dropping off a left-handed scissor with the other 2 pairs.  I also said that I was sorry that she didnt realize she had left-handed scissors, but the ones I gave back to her were hers.

    I am rejecting this response because: ****** from Seriously Sharp is not telling the truth! ****** didn't say anything about having a pair of left handed scissors when I dropped my scissors off at her salon. If fact nothing was said about having problems with the scissors. When husband picked them up ****** stated that if i was having a problem with those scissors its because they are left not right handed scissors. I have had these scissors for at least 50 years, my parents bought them for me while i was in school. I had no problems with any of those scissors. I just want them back. I nor my husband said anything about having problems with the scissors. How does she know that they were mine, maybe i brought them for someone else. I just want my scissors.

    Im not sure how to make this better.  I would love to help her, however, I have given all her items back to her in excellent condition.  I cant give her back something that I have already given her.  I dont understand why she is doing this.  This is so sad.

    I am rejecting this response because: I stand by my response, the business owner knows that she doesn't have to give me back my scissors working with BBB. She knows what she is doing. Tell me I have had those scissors for a long time,  why would I keep left handed scissors that I can't cut with for years? Why would my parents buy me left handed scissors when they know I'm right handed? Its really sad that a local business would s**** you. (you like my scissors?) You take your product to a hopefully a legit company for services and then ***, they take advantage of you. I know what i gave her that day. I know that she is not telling the truth. I know it my word against hers. ******, you said that "I'm not sure how to make this better" I know, give me back my scissors. How many times have you given your customers the wrong scissors and said that they were theirs? I don't think that I'm asking for to much, I only want what's mine. If you want your scissors back I will give them to you because I can't use them. I'm right handed, not left.
