I have dealt with plumbing issues within this rental property since I moved in. It occurs every few months. Since August of this year my sewage has been clogging and coming up my bath tub. I was told the issue was due to wipes and I do not own or use wipes, I told the company this because I believe the issue is bigger and they sent a letter that I must pay the plumbing bill from August due to wipes in the drain or I would be evicted. November 7, this issue started again, they sent plumbers out and the plumbers said they cant do anything else and the problem is due to the city. The toilet, and water that goes down all of my drains is coming up my bath tub. I have informed the property management company of this multiple times asking for updates or assistance in this matter and I have not received any. Plumbers they sent out left the sewage cap off outside and allowed my sewage to drain into my yard for a week, this is a health issue for me and my pet. They are aware I cannot properly shower or use my plumbing and do not communicate with me. What is occurring here is unethical and I feel that it is wrong to treat anyone in this way. Due to this, I have cancelled my lease renewal to move and hopefully live somewhere I can receive proper maintenance and live in a clean and safe environment. I pay my rent on time and I am paying for a plumbing bill for an issue I did not cause and still occurring.

Per the lease it states that clogged plumbing is a tenant responsibility, prior to this incident we had about 25 feet of the main sewer line replaced and cleared all the way to the city connection so we know the line was clean and clear. When the tenant reported this back up issue the plumber went out and pulled back wet wipes out of the sewer line that had been replaced about 4 months prior. I have a picture from the plumber showing the wet wipes found in the line. The plumbers were back out after this due to the tenant stating it was backing up again. This time nothing was pulled back and it was decided to loosen the cap on the plumbing clean out to allow it to expel water so the house would not back up until they could get back there with more cable line to try to clear the line all the way to the city again. I have also called the city of St. **** for them to come out and check their side of the sewer to ensure they do not have a blockage on their side but they have not followed up with us yet. We have also had a camera run in the line to ensure we have no breaks in the line to cause a backup. If the issue is found to be a city issue then we will go to the owner and ask him to reimburse the tenant.

I am renting a condo from a private owner through a 3rd party property management company. My washing machine and dryer are both out. It's in my lease that I am responsible for provided appliances. I would like the appliances removed from the premises from the owner or property manager. I am willing to purchase my own new appliances. I do not feel like I can dispose of the original owners purchased appliances that are no longer working as they were not my purchase or my property. I have been in contact with the property manager 3 times in 12 days and yet to have a solution.
