I paid 84 West Studios AKA Party Time DJs for multiple services for my wedding on 10/10/10 including photography. I paid for an album. I have been in contact with them over the years about reviewing the album and approving the album. Employee decided they could make the album better at one point and started over. Covid happened and they couldn't print the album. I've been dragged along for years and now they are not getting back to me. I just want my album or my money back. I have our email communications including when they told me they have dropped the ball. I spoke with ***** ****** and ******* ****** the owners, ***** ****** who is their daughter. No one will get back to me. I know it has been a long time but they never provided my album and strung me along as if they were going to eventually have the product for me. Now they will not return my calls or get on the phone with me or even reply to my email.Customer Answer

I have a wedding album I purchased though this company. The album is flaking and needs to fixed. I reached out to the owner *************************** on 6/3/22. We spoke on the phone and I sent him an email that day. He requested Photos of the album issues which I sent him. He then referred me to ***********************. Once she was handling the issue I never heard from here for a couple weeks. I sent numerous emails and left messages with her receptionist because you are not able to leave a voicemail. Each time I call Im told she is in a meeting and will call me back but to this day she has never called me. After 2 weeks complained with the owner ******* that ************ hasnt contacted me. Finally ***** sends me an email over a month later on 7/12 asking for pictures of the album. I forward the same pictures I sent ******* in 7/12. ****** responded in 7/13 she is reaching out to the manufacturer and will let me know. I dont hear back so I sent an email on 7/22, 7/28 and 8/9 and also called 4 times leaving messages checking in status. I get no response or call back. Finally over another month ***** replied via email on 8/17 stating she is working on it and needs pictures. She said she is going to upgrade the book to real leather so this wont happen again. I responded on 8/18 again with the exact same pictures I emailed her on 7/12. I asked her when i should expect the wedding album. She responded via email on 8/29 it will be 6 weeks to reproduce and ship. After 6 weeks I emailed her checking in status. I sent an email on 10/25, 10/28 and 11/10. She hasnt responded to any of them. I have called at least 5 times since November. Each time to leave a message with the receptionist. I explain my urgency and dilemma and needing a callback and nothing. I even told them that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau if I dont hear back a three times and still no response. I dont understand how they can operate a business with zero communication. They changed names to **************Business Response

We completely fulfilled our contract with you after your wedding in April of 2012. On June 3rd, 2022 you contacted us about your album needing to be repaired as the backing material was peeling. You included a photo. In that email you acknowledged that its not your fault but at the end of the day we hope this can be fixed. So as a courtesy on June 10, 2022 I responded to you that ***** was reaching out to the album manufacturer, GraphiStudio, on your behalf. ***** is my business partner. We have not had any business dealings with GraphiStudio since before the pandemic and dont currently have any contacts there, however, as I told you on the phone, GraphiStudio is a reputable album company, though I did not know if they would warrant a 10 year old album. We tried to reach out to them on your behalf and you could just as easily have reached out to them as they manufactured the Album that we took the photos for and created the design for. I even listed their name in my response to you on June 10, 2022.
Now you have submitted a complaint to the BBB implying that we have not fulfilled our work with you. That is completely untrue as we have not had any business dealings with you in a the last 10 years. Our attempt to assist you with the damaged back (see image attached) of your album was as a courtesy. We have no obligation, ten years after the fact, to perform any services in relation to your wedding album that we did the graphic design for and GraphiStudio manufactured. However as a past customer we were making an attempt to assist you simply as a courtesy, while we as a business have been severely downsized and forced to relocate by the pandemic and no longer have the staff and photo department that we did in 2012 when you were married.
In response of your email today please note, as I mentioned above, we were downsized (and rebuilding), we have no front desk anymore and ******* is not a front desk person, simply an answering service. We are not ignoring people, we are working every waking moment assisting customers that we are currently producing event services for and as a 2 person team now, that takes quite a bit of our business and personal time. Finally, you state I need an update and expected date for my album. Its weeks over due. We produced your album after your April 2012 Wedding and delivered it as contracted. That was a decade ago. The album manufacturer is responsible for any warranty on their album, not us. Their information was also included with your album at the time of delivery. You know that we do not have and are not currently making you another album for your 2012 wedding, as the original was delivered a decade ago and that is the album you wanted repaired. There is no weeks over due when there is no work order or contract with us for any services now. You are simply stating that in order to make a false complaint to the BBB. In addition you have made threats, in your email, to come directly to your office and cause a scene and to take more extreme measures. That is a legal threat in writing which is extreme in itself and can be dealt with if necessary.
*******, I understand that you simply want to fix the damage to your wedding album (image attached) as soon as possible. So to resolve your problem, I am going to suggest that you reach out to the manufacturer of your album, GraphiStudio, directly to see how they can assist you with your album repair. I regret not advising you to do that in the first place. You have always had that ability to do so and the documentation was even delivered with your album a decade ago. In addition you need to contact the BBB to retract your false and exaggerated complaint, since we have had no business dealing with you in the last 10 years and this matter did not involve any current business dealing, any obligation on our part or any new opportunity so the complaint is simply false.
I am copying this email to the BBB representative who advised us of your complaint being closed, via **** mail, in a letter dated January 11, 2023.

Im referring to the two emails ***** sent me back on August 17 and 29 2022. On 8/17 your partner ***** responded (not the album company) I will replace album for you. I am going to upgrade the book to real leather so this wont happen again. On the 8/29 ***** responded should be within the next 6 weeks to reproduce, ship, etc. This is a direct response to me asking when the new album will be shipped.The emails are clear that she would replace it regardless how it happens on your end. Since that email back in August I never heard from ***** or you after numerous emails and several calls. Not one response or callback. You say you are understaffed? So why have someone take callbacks and claim some will call me back after a meeting. Horrible customer service understaffed or not. But really we both know you and ***** ignored me after all those messages. All you had to do was call ONE time and explain to me the situation. If would have made things much easier and I wouldnt have had to contact the BBB. I wrote I would come to your office and cause a scene just to illicit a response. I never did and even that email you felt didnt matter enough to contact me. You guys led me to this frustration level so what do you expect?And no this matter is not closed. ***** clearly said the album would be delivered in 6 weeks. You clearly said she would handle it back in August. I havent received it. You said I was provided their information which is just a name? If you dont have any info and you had a working relationship how do you expect me to contact them? So if you dont have a way to reach them how did ***** claim she reached someone and responded it will be taken care. New album sent to me in 6 weeks. She emailed or spoke to someone or what she said wasnt true? I have provided the BBB the email which ***** said I would be delivered a album and the email that says she will replace it. You want to put that ownership on them but I also paid you thousands of dollars to handle my wedding which means I come to you if I have an issue. I paid for your services to handle the music, album, customer service, etc. you are are company that handles all those details. Otherwise why do we pay you all that money? We pay the extra funds for the convinces.Lastly you keep saying my BBB complaint is false. Its not false. I have emails from your *********************** that she will handle and replace the album. Thats directly from her. She will replace and upgrade the book. How is that false when that is directly from her? Lastly, whats not false is my multiple attempts to speak to someone on the phone. Not one single return phone call. I can pull my call logs and provide an exact total and show not one return call.I will follow up with the BBB and inform them even though ***** stated she will replace my album that you will not. That is not false. Lastly please provide me contact info for them since ***** was able to reach someone to state that.At the end is the day I just want this album replaced. How it happens is irrelevant to me.Thank you
