    Tony presented himself as licensed and insured (on multiple occasions), but turned out to be an over confident handyman. Tony was very responsive and helpful as a handyman, but when he took on my bathroom remodel he got in over his head. What started as a 5-7 day project still wasn’t finished after 21 days, which caused me to have to displace guests at the last minute because he never told me (lost income), despite daily followup, that he wouldn’t be able to finish on time. At one point he said he’d be done in 2 hours, get a week later he still wasn’t finished. Mid-project he went ghost then just popped back up like nothing happened. I had to end things when I came to inspect (he refused to send detailed progress pics I requested) and found the shower floor wasn’t properly waterproofed, was wavy and uneven (imagine showering in a shower with bumps in the flooring), wall tiles weren’t smooth or level across, etc. and plumbing installed looked horrible. He then doubled the estimate after I told him his services were no longer needed. Poor communication, poor workmanship, and dishonesty have tarnished the once good relationship we had. Owners beware!
