    I do not recommend using Tile Metrics for your flooring needs. We hired them three years ago prior to moving into our home. They removed old tile and carpet in order to install new LVP wood planks throughout our home. It looked great for three years till the planks started to buckle and seperate. Rolando came to our house and said it was due to mold and water damage. We then had additional inspections done and there was no mold or water damage. Just bad instillation. They failed to apply a moisture barrier (standard practice in Florida), clean the floors, fill cracks or level the floors prior to laying the new flooring. We've tried contacting Rolando several times via email and phone without success. He is not taking responsibility for his lack of instillation on our floors. They are not licensed or insured. Do Not Hire!

    Appreciate your feedback. We apologize for not providing the assistance you were expecting. After the year workmanship warranty expired and HVAC leak incident occurred, you contacted us twice (4 months apart) for directions on how to replace the affected areas. You were given instructions on how to care for planks after HVAC leak and a quote for us to repair area, you declined.  After the year warranty, as a courtesy, we went to your home twice to assess the affected area. As a courtesy, distributor gave you boxes to repair the affected areas, boxes were never picked up. Prior to installation, we retrieved a concrete moisture with meter reader and worked with a leveler throughout the installation. Pictures of moisture level readings were documented and emailed to the inspector recommended by distributor. After leak, July2022, affected wet area left to set till Aug.2023, moisture caused the floor planks unlevel. Leveler set over floor planks when level floor status retrieved by inspector May 2023.

    Your intent is to relive yourself and distributor from responsibility on product maintenance, care & performance. It seems your goal is to blame Tile Metrics for product performance due to HVAC leak. 

    Review Timeline:
    1. Floor date of installation 7/2020
    2. A/C repair Date on receipt 7/2022
    3. Floor date 1st report to Tile Metrics - phone call 10/2022
    (via phone call requesting how to repair. Tile Metrics detailed instructions on how to remove planks and dehumidify. 
    Customer asked if we could repair; but didn't request a quote)
    4. Floor date 2nd report to Tile Metrics - phone call & email 4/2023
    (via phone call & email, requesting Tile Metrics Evaluate. Rolando & Workman/installer were onsite 4/2023. Tile Metrics emailed customer a Repair quote. Customer Declined quote)
    5. Customer contacted distributor 5/23.
    6. Rolando & Distributor representative were onsite to assess area 5/23.
    7. Email sent to customer by Tile Metrics on 5/23 notifying them boxes of flooring provided by distributor as courtesy were ready to pick up.
    8. Email sent to customer by distributor on 7/23 notifying them boxes of flooring provided by distributor as courtesy were ready to pick up.

    We encouraged you to read the Tile Metrics Buyer & Service contract agreement attached to Invoice.
